Jack's pov

I woke up quickly, shaking my head. I darted my eyes over to Mark, who was still asleep on his hospital bed. I fall back into the chair and sigh with relief. That dream felt to real, but he was still here. I take my hat off and fluff through my spikey hair. "What time is it?" I asked myself as I looked around. My phone was somewhere in my suitcases, but I didn't want to start rummaging through it. I found the clock on the wall and frowned. Its was 2 in the morning. I looked back over to Mark when I heard him groan. Mark wiped over his face with his hand, "uh… hey Jack?" Mark whispered. I walk away from the clock and back to his side. "H-Hey…" I stuttered with a faint blush. Mark playfully pouted, "Oh your not still all worried about me are you?" He laughed lightly.

He found it quiet funny, but I didn't. Even though he seemed to be acted like it was nothing, I knew better than believe it. Anytime something bad happens, he plays it off as 'no big deal' and laughs like nothings wrong. I know him better than most people. 'Mark stop acting like yer not bothered by all o' this." I take a seat on the chair. Mark's fake smile fades. Mark turns his head, as if to look away from me, but he still had bandages over his eyes.

"I…It hurts to cry! So yeah I will fake like I'm fine to keep from hurting any more." Mark sternly says, keeping his face turned away from me. I place my hand gently on the side of his face and turn him facing me. "M…Mark I'm sorry…." I frowned feeling the bandages get wet. He was crying behind those. Mark laughs, "Jack, I-I am glad you're here…I'm feeling better already because you actually care." Mark laughs a bit more but allows it to fade. "Jack…what exactly happened at that convention, I…I cant remember much about before the crash." Mark slanted his mouth in confusion.

"Well. A lot happened. You met a lot of yer fans, ye did a signing, umm… Ye bought a lot of weird figurines but they kinda got lost in the crash…" I trailed off. Mark slightly chuckled, "Sounds like it was fun… I wish I could…. Remember…" Mark sadly said. "But Jack, you said I met fans, what do you mean?" My heart felt heavy, was he losing his memory.
