"As I was saying," Kate continued her conversation sitting a bowl of soup in front of me, and in front of Anna.
"No, it's not poisoned, being that I need you fully awake to hear the rules." She stared at me, noticing my expression.
"Charls will go get you water, being I don't trust him in here longer than five minutes, and the water is far away." She smiled at me, turning her face slightly staring him in the eye, making him get up and walk out fast without a word.
Anna sipped her soup, I did the same as Kate spoke mannerly. "Okay, since we're in a warehouse, you will be transported to a nicer, cleaner home, no, this is not the golden time to escape, there. Is. No, escaping." She said calmly, and harshly.
I sighed loudly, closing tightly my swollen eyes. I still had a ball in my throat, that made it hard to drink, let alone even eat. "When I'm done talking to you girls, your hands will be tied up, and you will yes, you will be drugged, or gagged, up to you, it's for your own good, so you don't yell, because you will-be-killed if you try to get outsiders attention." She smiled coldly at us, nodding her head.
"Role One, behave properly," She paused, which seemed like forever.
"Rule Two, no cussing, A.K.A swearing, if you do swear; you will be punished." She smiled, getting up from the chair.
"Rule Three, no hitting, spitting, or any of the sort." She waved her hand in the air, walking around the small room.
"Final Rule, If you escape, we will find you, and we will kill your family, think we're bluffing? Do it, run away." She grinned evilly, looking us straight in the eye, making me very uncomfortable.
"Now, time to talk about the game," She paused, shifting her body towards the mirror I hadn't noticed, it had blood spatters all around it, and a broken piece, a white frame that was stained with dirt, and mold.
"It's not.. actually .. a game, more of a less pushing limits physically, and mentally." She smirked, turning around on her heels, that I ALSO didn't notice she was wearing, who wears heels and sweat-pants, honestly?
"Limits?" Anna asked, fear dripping off her voice. "Yes, limits." Kate lowered herself to her height, staring her in the eyes, mocking her every move.
Anna stared at her, fear dripping off her face.
"And the letter." Kate got up, walking towards the mirror, pulling a soft tip'd pen, and paper out.
"Write a letter to yours, and Anna's parents that you will not being going home ever again, write what you'd like, but don't ask for help, also, tell them there's no finger prints so they wont turn it into the police," She smirked pulling her leather gloves on, that I didn't remember her putting on.
I scribbled on the page, writing a very long heart-feld letter, to my parents, saying they will never see their baby again, mentioning Anna as well.
I finished and signed my name, handing it to Anna, who was sobbing her eyes out, she scribbled a sign that was weird and unrecognizable.
"I'll send this, to your Address." She smiled business-like. "Wait, how do you know my address?" I asked in disbelief. "I just do." She winked, walking out of the room,
Silence filled the air, I didn't want to speak, I didn't want to be here, I felt like throwing a fucking tantrum right here, right now.
"Brianna?" Anna asked, lifting her head up from her hands. I nodded in reply. "Do you think we'll ever get out of here?" She asked, with a slight sob.
"No." I answered honestly. "I don't. These people, they're.. monsters." I scratched my cheek.
"Should we commit suicide?" She asked, pointing to the mirror. My eyes widened, I felt like slapping her for giving up hope.. but I just told her, that we're never leaving basically.
I stared at the mirror, the word 'suicide.' floated through my mind.
"I'm doing it." She smiled sadly walking towards it. "How?" I asked, not wanting to know the answer.
"Obviously cutting myself until I bleed to death?" She answered with no emotion, as if it didn't matter.
I got up off my chair, and walked over to the mirror slowly. "No. We've been through so much, I'm not letting you kill yourself, we can't die, you can't die, I lied, we will get out of here." I whispered, grabbing her hands.
"No we wont.. we've been here to long, it's been months. Nobody-Is-coming." She softly sobbed, slapping her hands away from mine, "You can either help me, or sit down." She stated.
"No." I shook my head, standing infront of the mirror. "I'm not letting you." I smiled sadly, staring her in the eye.
"Move, Brianna." She shouted harshly.
"No."
"MOVE BRIANNA." She screeched at the top of her lungs, shutting her eyes tight.
"No." I whispered, tears flowing down my cheeks, "You're so selfish, we're going to be tortured, raped, hurt, just let me go out peacefully." Her words hurt, she can't die, I can't let her die.
"It's not selfish, to not want someone to die." I stood strongly infront of the mirror, blocking it. "It's not selfish to want to survive, to have someone to look at and say "We're strong."
"IT IS SELFISH." She shouted, tossing the chair across the room, breaking it.
"I'm not letting you past it, Anna." I chuckled, tears dripping down. "No more crying, no more of this shit, no more." I smiled, wiping my tears away.
"You just want me here, so when you get tortured, you can have someone who feels your pain physically, and mentally, you don't want to be alone." She whispered dryly, staring me in the eye shaking her head like some idiot.
The lights started flickering. "Great." I looked up.
"What, what's next, a fucking clown?" I asked sarcastically, lowering my head. "You didn't answer my question, Brianna." Anna stared at me, cold, making my chest hurt.
I sighed loudly, and put my hands loosely to my sides. "I'm not letting you kill yourself Anna, you mean to much." I whispered, my voice cracking horribly.
"Fine." The corner of her mouth twitched with annoyance. She turned her back to the chair.
But she turned around, and surprised the hell out of me.
