Bella and Paul

Will the truth come out?

Sam was sitting in the rocking chair looking at Bella in Pauls lap out of the corner of his eye. He didn't know what to do or how to act on telling Bella she was his and Emily's daughter. He could hear Bella lightly snoring. He knew she was asleep. He remembers how she used to curl up on his lap as a little girl and go to sleep, she always loved laying her head on his chest. She was always a daddy's girl.

Emily was watching Sam look at Bella. She didn't know how to act either, they promised each other they would tell Bella one day. Emily also, remembers how she would be cooking in the kitchen, just to walk out and see Sam and Bella asleep in the recliner, Bella curled up in his lap asleep and Sam's arms lightly wrapped around Bella, he never let go.

She also remembers the day she brought Bella home. (No keep in mind that wolves when they phase they never grow old, in my story anyway) the pack was gathered at there house. Paul and Jared, waiting for the return of Sam and Emily and the new baby. The first pack baby.

Sam and Emily walked through the door to see Jared and Paul waiting anxiously to see the new baby. Sam was carrying the baby around while he let Emily hold onto his arm so she could walk. She was so tiny. 6 lbs and 8 ozs. With lightly dark hair and Sam's dark skin tone.

"So what is her Name?" Jared asked

"Her name is Bella Emily Uley." Emily said

"That's pretty." Jared said

"Do you want to hold her?" Sam asked

"Sure." Jared agreed.

"Be careful she's  tiny." Emily said

Jared took the small baby in his arms and was in awe. But Paul never took his eyes off her.

"Paul do you want to hold her?" Emily asked

"Sure." Paul said Paul gathered the tiny baby in his arms and was in awe. He didn't know what to do or how to act, he never held a baby before.

"Your a natural. You both are." Sam said

The baby started to squirm in his arms and he panicked.

"Uh Sam?" Paul said

Sam got the diaper bag and made her a bottle and handed it to Paul. Paul put the bottle in her mouth and sighed when she calmed down.

"She likes you Paul." Emily commented

"Yeah and I like her. She's so tiny." Paul said.

"Jared, you done good." Sam said

"Thanks bro. But why do you i feel protective over her?" Jared asked

"She's the first pack baby it's an action." Emily said looking at Bella in Pauls arms. Boy this one was going to be trouble. Paul Loathe was going to imprint sooner or later on her daughter. Sam knew this too.

Emily felt tears coming to get eye as she flashed back on the day. Sam noticed theses tears. Got up and gathered her in his arms and sighed.

"It will be okay Em." Sam said

"When are we going to tell her?" Emily said silently.

"One day sweetheart." Sam said while him and Emily looked at Bella still asleep in Pauls arms.

Paul heard the whole thing and sighed he didn't know how to act on it either. Jared was watching Paul real close with Bella, he always has. She's been like his sister.

Jared remembered they went to La Push beach one day and Bella was holding onto his hand swinging it back and forth.

"Uncle Jared?" Bella said

"Yes sweetie?" Jared said.

"Can you throw me really high into the water today?" She asked. It was her favorite thing for Jared to do.

"Only if Paul catches you." Jared said as they came to a stop.

"Pauly!" Bella yelled he groaned he hated that name, but nobody but Bella called him that.

"Yes Bella?" Paul said.

"If uncle Jared throws me really high into the water can you catch me?" She asked. She gave him the puppy dog eyes and he caved. They were his weakness for her.

"Sure baby." Paul said. She giggled really loud causing Sam and Emily to laugh with them.

Jared grabbed Bella up and she squealed with delight. He took her into the water and raised her up really high and dropped her a few times but not letting her hit the water. Only to cause her to giggle some more.  Paul got ready to catch Bella as Jared threw her really high into the air.

Paul was ready for the impact, as she came flying to him, giggle like a mad women. He caught her and she laughed some more causing everyone to laugh with her. She kissed Pauls cheek and swam over to Jared.

Paul and Jared both sighed, Bella was going to be mad at all of them for knowing the truth and not telling Bella.

But the question on everyone's mind was "Will the Truth come out?"
