Bella and Paul

Refreshed

Bella woke up feeling different than normal. She felt refreshed. Like everything was going to go great. She got up and changed out of her bed clothes Into a tank top and shorts. She knew the pack would be down stairs hoarding over Emily's cooking and she couldn't complain it was the best on the Rez.

She stepped out of her bedroom and headed down stairs. She could hear the pack talking about there business.  She heard Paul's voice and her heart jumped. She didn't know how to act on the imprint, she's never been in a relationship before. Every time she tried Sam or the pack stopped her, and she hated them for that. But she never said anything or done anything about it. She knows they always looked out for her.

She made her way down the steps and into the kitchen. She looked around for Paul and there eyes met, he smiled and so did she.

"Morning sweetie." Emily said and kissed her cheek.

"Morning Em." She said and made hey way to Sam.

"Morning Sammy." She said and kissed his cheek. Embry snickered at the nickname. Sam sent him a death glare to shut up.

"What's wrong Emmy, sad because I don't have a nickname for you?" Bella asked and smirked.

Embry, Quil, and Jacob are close to her age. They have always been best friends.

Embry growled at the nickname. But he stopped when he heard Sam and Paul growl at him in return. Bella smirked and sat down between Paul and Sam.

"Moring Paul." She said and smiled at him.

"Morning Bells." He said and smiled back at her. She felt awkward around Sam with Paul around she didn't know to act or anything.

"Sleep good Bella?" Sam asked as he could sense the tension.

"Like a baby." She replied.

"Im sure you did." She heard Sam mummer. Thinking she couldn't hear but she did.

"I did Sam." She replied his eyes widened as he noticed she heard it all, he dropped it and went back to eating.   Bella enjoyed her breakfast. After she was done she gathered everyone's plates like she did every morning and washed the dishes.

"Need any help Bella?" She jumped at his voice.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you." Paul said

"It's okay. And no I'm good." She added.

"Sorry I growled at you Bella." Embry said from behind them. She jumped again.

"Why are you so jumpy today?" Sam asked

"I don't know and Its okay Embry." She said to embry.

"Can I hug you?" He asked Paul growled and Embry. Sam on the other hand smirked now he knows how it feels when someone hugs an imprint.

"Umm I don't think Paul will like that." She said and looked at Paul.

"Go ahead but quick. You may be her bestfriend and all but quick." Paul warned.

Embry gave her a quick hug and stepped back.

"I didn't mean to growl at you, and I'm sorry I did Bella. It's just the nickname made me mad."

"Embry I was just playing." She said and titled her head to the side in confusion.

"I know." He said

"Alright guys pack meeting time." Sam said. Everyone hugged Bella and Emily. Sam And Paul was the last to leave. Sam kissed Emily and headed out.

"I will see you later Bella." Paul said and kissed her cheek. She blushed a deep red.

"See you later." She said and hugged him.

She watched as he stepped out the door and sighed. But went back to the dishes. The rest of the day she helped Emily clean and waited for Pauls return.
