"Cheers!" the two girls chanted as they clinked their glasses and took a huge sip out of their melon soda. Elina, Stephanie and Melissa were currently at Elina's house for a sleepover.

"Aren't you joining us, Melissa?" Stephanie asked Melissa who was currently, the only one standing and gazing into her phone. Melissa looked up from her phone. "Huh?" Melissa shoved her phone into her pocket.

"Uh, sure." Melissa said as she took her cup and raised before taking a large sip.

"What happened, girl? You seem distracted." Elina asked as she flipped her pure blonde hair. Melissa stared into the translucent green liquid at the bottom of the glass. She slowly shook her head. "It's nothing, really."

Elina stared at Melissa at a moment before shrugging. She continued her gossiping with Stephanie. They were talking about brands, schools and boring classes which Melissa barely caught up on. She bit her lip.

Truthfully, she was never happy around Elina or Steph. The two seemed close while she?

A gossip interrupted her thought. "...don't you think that weird angry girl, Lilac, was it? She looks a bit like Princess Luna?"

"Which part of her?" Elina asked.

"Like, her eyes and the hair part." Elina scrunched her nose to Steph's statement. Then, she shook her head. "Ew, no. If anything, I look more like the Princess than her."

Melissa pulled her lips into a thin line at Elina's statement. It was cringey to hear. She wanted to argue but she just kept her mouth shut. She definetely needed to help her.

And Elina was delusional, she would add.

Lilac was patiently waiting for the sun to rise, gazing at her feet. She was annoyed at herself and at how much time she took to wander around with that poppy and some grass.

As she watched the moon rise into the raven sky, she saw something flick behind a tree for a second or so. Lilac tried to see more closely when it disappeared, leaving purple dust behind. Hmm, maybe just a glitch thought Lilac.

She noticed few odd things. There were no mobs. There was no groaning noises of zombies or hissing of creepers. No sign of the bony sounds of skeletons either. It was so oddly silent, it was slightly scary. All she heard was her breathing, her heart beating and the sound of her shifting in the underground hole.

An idea struck her.

Since she heard no mobs, she decided to take her chance, dash and get the heck out of there. Hopefully, she would reach home just in time.

Right as when she was too far to find any hiding spot, she heard a groaning zombie noise near by. Lilac froze. Stopping dead on her track, she carefully turned behind to see more two zombies and three skeletons.

She had absolutely no weapon.

Bad timing! Lilac silently complained to her subconscious as she looked straight ahead to continue running.

Suddenly, a sharp pain hit her left leg and spread through out her entire body. She looked down to see an arrow stuck on her left leg. Lilac shifted back her gaze to the creatures behind her to see a worried expression on the zombie and the skeleton that had chased her.

Lilac then realised something she shouldn't have.

Were they trying to protect me? was the last thought before everything looked bent and whirly as she fell to the ground unconscious.
