Lilac wasn't feeling well from the crack of dawn as she woke up screaming. It was still dark outside. Steve came into the room and sat next to her bed and comforted her. "Are you ok?" He asked softly. "Yeah.. I think I had a nightmare." Lilac answered. She didn't remember anything about the dream which was only a little while ago. Dreams fade she thought.
Despite feeling giddy and dizzy, Lilac went to school just to see Helena and Jake. Lilac had been snoozing throughout all the classes. The only information she got in her head was Ms. Graphite's announcement.
"In two weeks, we will be hosting the biggest party of this town to celebrate the Creation Day and all of you may enjoy. Wear something that looks fancier than usual." The class buzzed into their individual conversations and shared positive thoughts. The teacher clapped her hand once to get everyone's attention.
"Now everyone, please open your textbook page to number 17." The teacher announced. Lilac wasn't paying attention to the school work, occasionally zoning out, but managed to stay awake by thinking about Creation Day.
A day that was celebrated as the day Overworld was created, real or a myth.
Lilac was walking alone on her way home, gazing at the flowers dreamingly when she realized that the sun was starting to set. This distance, she couldn't have made it to neither her house nor back to school for a safe place.
She quickly dug a hole in the ground and hid. At least, she would be safe for the night.
She just stood there doing nothing. She did not realize that two purple eyes had been watching her.
