10- "No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true." – Cinderella

High school is important. It's a mile stone in your life but nonetheless, it's hurts you in the long run. You make so many memories, friends and achievements but at the end of those four years- you leave. You leave and you don't look back, you forget about each other and make new friends. Your not the same person you are in highschool, your grow up and have to deal with life.

Now that sucks but it's a necessity.

I don't want to grow apart from my friends and I'll try my best not to but I have to live in reality. It may happen.

I'm not scared of most things but that's one of them.

Losing people I care about.

The day drags by slowly and now I was sitting in global studies. This was the class I hated most, it was boring and all my teacher ever did was speak.

I look down at my phone that was placed on my lap and scroll through my messages. Wonder had texted me.

Wonderful46- I'm bored

Jason123- me too.

Wonderful46- I need to pee

Jason123- so pee

Wonderful46- are you a boring texter, then I'd rather just pay attention.

Jason123- go ahead I wouldn't care.

Wonderful46- really so u wouldn't care if I just ignored you.

She better not.

Jason123- nope I couldn't give a shit.

I scowl at my phone impatiently waiting for her to text back. That's Wonder for you, one minute she would be blushing and bashful then next she's fiery and stubborn. Just the thought of her is making me want to smile.

I look up from my phone and pretend like I'm paying attention. It's not like the teacher would notice she is too busy writing notes on the board. I feel my phone vibrate in my hand, maybe she finally decided to text me back.

My dads name flashes across the screen. What does he want now, I pull out my head phones and stick them in my ears. I answer the call and groan, "What?"

"Jason." His voice sounds oddly calm, it sounds like he's hiding something.

Suddenly a little bit alert I answer, "Yes"

"You need to come visit the hospital" I grit my teeth together. Why does he want me to go so bad, I've told him countless times I don't want to go. I don't want treat people like mice and not even have any positive outcome. I don't want to follow in the foot steps of him. What I want is for my mother to get better. That's all.

"We went through this, no." I ground out.

"Its your mother Jason." I stand up abruptly gripping the phone holding it to my ear. "She fainted and we don't know what's wrong."

"How do you not fucking know! Your a doctor for fucks sake. Do your damn job." I raise my voice earning stares from my peers. "I'll be there." I grab my bag and rush out the room ignoring the teachers calls. I have more important things to do than learn shit I'll never use in life.

I hear a door close after me- which im assuming is the bathroom- and the sound of feet hitting the floor. Wonder comes from behind me and grabs my hand. "Jason what happened? Jason?" She stares up at me settling her hand on my shoulder. "Jason what wrong you can tell me-" Her lips slightky pouts as her eyebrows furrow. She looked concerned.
