The water was cool yet warm, the water rippled as I swam to the shore that lay on the edge of the rich quarter. From the corner of my eye I swore I saw a woman, yet I dissmised the shadow as an illusion. I needed to report back to my employer, his pay would be fair. The way back to poor quarter was shrouded in mistary and danger. My foot landed at the door to the house were my employer lived. I swear that I saw blood on the handle. I opened the door slightly, walking in.

There he lay, my employer, dead. A knife lay in his hands. Dam it, I knew someone was after me. I shook the thought out of my head as a familiar face appeared in front of me.

'Son, you are banished from this house until you learn to control your anger.' Mother's voice was like a punch to the gut. My brother looked away. 'You as well. You traitor. I hate you! I hate you all!'

I shook my head, getting the memory away from my mind. I gritted my teeth, and walked out of the building. My new destination was the outcast quarters, home of the black market. Reaching the area was filled with flash backs
I would not like to tell them but it was when I was betrayed.

I reached the market and sold the diamond. I got two swords as a trad as wells two flintlock pistols. I saw the woman again, as I walked away, heading for a ally way. I looked over my shoulder, seeing the woman trying to blend with a group of merchants.

The ally way was dark, a perfect place to hide. I leaned against a wall, flipping a blade in the air and catching, waiting for my stalker to find me.
