The woman grabbed me, her hand on my face, her eyes sparkling with tears. "Why!?" Her words mixed with sadness. The knife, luckily, missed my heart, I held the handle, slowly pulling the steel blade from my chest. Blood spitting from the wound. "Well help me, I need you to put pressure on the wound in 3...2...1 now." The knife was dislodged and she forced her hands down to the opening.
She grabbed a cloth, pushing it in the wound. I squinted as the pain was beyond anything I have suffered. She let go as I stood up.
Blood spitting from my mouth, a music box playing in the background, it's time off course, I should know. That was my fault, when I ran away from home, 20 years ago, I, I broke a lot of things. And well a few tears were shed but the sting of pain made me stronger. I inhaled a breath, seeing guards rush to my door. They were seventeen meters away, I grabbed my bow, loaded four arrows on to the string, I exhaled, and inhaled, looking at the guards, I held my breath as o relised the arrows, hitting all of the guards between the eyes. The woman stepped forward, "Your not a bad shot."
I looked at her "I've had practice, now, why did you come here."
"Because, Qarunth, I would like your help, or because there is something on my mind, look, I know about your past, I wanted to talk, I know you've suffered, I know about a friend far off in a land lay forgotten, I know what he is,"
"No, you don't know about him, you don't know what sufferings like. You don't know what it's like to be forgotten for twenty years, what it's like to fall and to never be found, to be shunned upon by others. What it's like to loose some one , what it's like to die, you don't know anything about me!
