In Middle School:

Sadie's POV:

  I continue to glare at him across the room hoping he doesn't see me looking at him. Autumn nudges my arm. "Come on Sadie stop staring at him. He will notice sooner or later. Just talk to him and tell him how you feel. Remember it is almost the end of the school year." She is right it is June and this might be my only chance to tell him how I feel. I have liked Colby since 6th grade. We have been in the same class since then also. Throughout that time we only talked about 5 times. I am completely petrified of how he will respond towards what I might say to him. Autumn is lucky almost every guy in the class likes her. It is only because she is skinny. For me it is the complete opposite. No one likes me and I am not skinny. "I am scared. I don't know how he will respond." Autumn turns around and looks at me with a bad look. "Listen to me! First of all you are beautiful. Second you have the best personality any one could have. Third of all you are an amazing person you are selfless and kind hearted. So if he has a bad response he is missing out on a lot. Do you understand me?" "Yes and thank you so much Autumn. I couldn't ask for a better friend!" I pull her into a hug. "You too! Remember I will be here for you NO MATTER WHAT!" Those were the words she whispered into my ear. The bell rang for the next class. Colby was the last one to leave. "Hey Colby wait up!" I said catching up to him. "Hey Sadie. That's your name right?" "Yes it is. Can I tell you something?" "Yeah sure." I take a deep breath in. "Okay, Colby we were in the same class since 6th grade and I felt something that I never felt before. Ever since then I never knew what it was but now I know. I have certain feelings towards you and I don't know if you feel the same way. I really like you Colby." I finish and he just stands there and starts laughing. "Of course I don't feel the same way! I would never like you. You are an ugly fat a$$. No one would ever like you." He just walks away and continues to laugh. He catches up to his friends and I see Autumn turn around. I can't believe this I just can't. He laughed at me and called me those things. I just fell down and started crying. "Sadie what happened? Did that f*cker do something? I swear I am going to kick his a$$!" "He.. laughed at m-me. A-and ca-called me.. an ugly fat a$$." "He did what? Oh hell no!" She turns around to Colby and his friends. "Yo Colby I need to talk you and give you a piece of my f*cking mind!" "No Autumn don't." He walks over to her. She pushes him against one of the lockers. "Who the f*ck do you think you are? Do you like seeing people cry? You are not even all that you think you are! Now you should apologize you d!ck for all you said to her!" She gets ready to punch him in the face. "Okay I am sorry." I knew he didn't mean it but I accepted it anyways. Autumn let him go to his friends. "You know Autumn you didn't have to do that." "Oh yes I did." I wipe my face and get ready to go to class.

Colby's POV:

  I can't believe that just happened. That girl embarrassed me in front of my friends just because I was telling the truth to some girl. But that girl that was telling me off was hot. Her eyes darkened from the regular ocean blue that they always are. And when I say she has a nice body oh definitely she does. I can't believe she is friends with Sadie. "Yo dude you almost got jacked up by that girl over there." "Yeah I know Jake." I swear he doesn't shut up for anything. "But she was really hot though." "No sh!t sherlock." I swear if she punched me she would have seen the real side of me. The dominant side of Colby. I probably would have grabbed her wrists and pushed her against the lockers on the other side and who knows what else I would have done. That was when class started and I saw Sadie and her hot friend. Her friend was giving me dirty looks. I just looked and winked at her. She gasped and mouthed you pig! to me. Then class started.
