"today marks six months that singer louis tomlinson, best known as a member of british boyband one direction, passed away. fans, family, and friends are gathering to remember him, as well as his fellow friends in the music industry, who are devoting their talents to honoring his memory."
~
harry can feel the eyes on him, and he thinks it's the first time the fans don't scream at his presence.
he can see so many people, but he can't help but think of how they don't understand how much one person in particular is longing to have louis back.
he can hear the changes in his friends' songs, how they've altered them to fit this godforsaken situation.
"took the supermarket flowers from the windowsill."
"they smell so pretty harry."
"they're small and delicate, reminded me of you. and look, blue and green."
"threw the day old tea from the cup."
"yorkshire?"
"you're the only person who can seem to remember that."
"packed up the photo albums that you had made,"
"put that one here. yeah. and the one from the x-factor houses- oh we have to use this one, harry, it's my favorite picture of us."
"memories of a life that's been loved."
"i love you,"
"i love you too, more than anything, darling."
"took the get well soon cards and stuffed animals,"
"sending our love and prayers to the lads of one direction, and our deepest condolences to his fiancée, harry."
"i'm sorry for your loss."
"holding a pillow, or a bear, it's nothing. i need to hold him again, niall."
"we've done all we can, but the damage was too severe."
"threw the old ginger beer down the sink."
"that's gross, haz."
"i told niall to take it back home with him, god knows why he left it here. burns my throat."
"me too."
"dad always told me 'don't you cry when you're down,' but mum there's a tear every time that i blink."
"you can't spend every waking second dwelling on what happened, harry. crying and drowning in misery isn't going to bring him back, son."
"i miss him too, baby. let it out, i know. i can't imagine how much you're hurting, baby, it's okay, you let it all out."
"oh i'm in pieces, it's tearing me up,"
"w-why did you wash it?"
"what?"
"that- you washed it away, niall, he was there! he was still- i could smell him, niall, that's the blanket he s-slept with all the t-time!"
"i'm sorry, harry, i didn't know."
"but i know, a heart that's broke is a heart that's been loved."
"he loved you so much, harry, don't you ever forget that. he still loves you. and i know he has your entire heart, haz, and you hold on to that. don't let them tell you to forget, you keep him right here with you, you don't have to forget about him. he still loves you and you're allowed to love him too."
