Are we in the clear?

It has indeed been a few weeks or months since that shocking kiss. With that kiss, you were left wondering if Leo REALLY liked you.

"Hey!" You hear a yell and quickly snap out of your mind. You see Raphael in front of you. You blinked twice blankly and then chuckled nervously.

"Hi?" You responded giving an nervous shrug. Raph slapped his face and sighed heavily.

"I asked if you want pizza?" He asked rolling his eyes. He lifted up a pizza and handed it to you. You stare down at the pepperoni pizza.

"Oh... thanks..." You gave your thanks and grabbed the slice. Raph went back at the table with his brothers, leaving you on the couch. You took a bite out of the pizza and licked your lips, allowing the beautiful taste of pizza satisfy your taste buds.

All of a sudden, you hear the voice of the turtle you fell in love with. You didn't quite hear what he really said since you were thinking again.  "What?" You asked jumping a little. You look up at Leo who was giggling. You frowned sadly looking away. Leo noticed your frown, which made him sit next to you.

"Sorry. I asked if you were enjoying your pizza" He said. You gave a nod and a sad grin. Leo frowned, concerned about you. "Hey," He lifts up your chin and stared at you, showing that he was worried, "You ok?" He asked. You could feel your cheeks get into a deep shade of red as you felt the warmth of your cheeks. You quickly look away and nodded your head yes.

"I am" You lied. If you told him the truth, then things will go awkward and it may drive you and Leo apart from eachother. You gave a big nervous smile and tilted your head a little. You could tell by the look of his eyes that he wasn't buying it.

"Please tell me the truth" Leo begged. You stared down and sighed. You were afraid to tell him what was bothering you. You believed it would make Leo walk away from you in some way. Leo finally sighed and stood up. "I'm sorry. I won't force you to tell me, that isn't right. Just... just feel better, kay?" Leonardo said then walked off. You nodded and stared back down at your bitten pizza.

"Hey, Mikey! I got some pizza!" You yelled looking back. The second you looked back at your hand, the pizza was gone. You chuckled as you see Mikey next to you gobbling up the pizza you offered to him.

"Fanks, Y/N!" Mikey said. You nodded and patted his head and stood up.

"Im... a bit tired, I'll go take a nap" You finally said and walked away. You entered your room and jumped into the dirty ripped up but comfortable bed and sighed heavily. You stared at the ceiling. Donnie knocks and you quickly jump up. "Oh... it's you" You looked away. Donnie comes over you and sits at the edge of the bed. 

"What's wrong? You know you can trust me if it is about Leo" Donnie spoke. You looked up and grinned.

"He gave me a kiss... the day I first trained" You begin to speak. You grabbed a string of your H/C hair and begin twirling it around your finger. "And since that day, I just... I just want to know if that kiss had some type of meaning, you know?" You sighed sadly, staring frown at the ground. You could hear Donnie hum as he thought.

"Ask him" Donnie suggested. You looked back up with a confused look.

"What?" You believed you misheard him. You placed your hand around your ear, tilting towards him, waiting for him to respond.

"Ask him" he repeated, leaning over towards you so you could hear and indeed you did hear what he said. You dropped your hand and tilted back shaking your head rapidly.

"No way! Nu-uh! Nope!" You said, facing the other way. Donnie rolled his eyes.

"Don't you want to know if he likes you? You can't hide for eternity" Donnie spoke. You looked back at him with sad eyes and a depressed frown. Donnie shrugged, staring back at your E/C unique eyes. Donnie finally made his way back to the door, but before he left, he stared back at you, wanting to tell you something. "It's better to risk the answers than to not hear them at all. If Leo says no, then he just lost the one opportunity to be with the most wonderful girl he has ever met" He smiled calmly and finally exit the room. Those words kept you thinking. You dropped your eyes down, now considering to ask him that question. You sighed shakily and dropped down onto your bed, staring up at the ceiling.

"Knock knock?" That voice. Oh, not now. You lifted your head up to see the blue masked turtle.

"Who's there?" You asked, forcing a smile upon your face.

"Leo" He chuckled a tiny bit and walked into your room. You sat up and noticed he sat next to you. You looked up at him. You bit your lip.

At this point, you were forcing yourself to ask that question about the kiss, but you just couldn't speak. You were frozen in place, your hand grabbing tight on the bed beneath you. You could feel sweat roll down your face. Leo couldn't quite understand why you were sweating. He lifted on of his arm and wiped off a bit of sweat. "Are you feeling alright?"

"Did that kiss mean something!?" You finally asked, feeling that you have interrupted him. You had widened eyes as you held in your breath. Leo's eyes widened as well, surprised for the sudden question.

{I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ask} was the thing you were about to say. But you didn't. Not because you were currently holding yourself in place, but because you did mean to ask that question. The curiosity was just stabbing you in the chest. You had to know. Leo remained silent, his cheeks glowing a bright red. You felt your own cheeks warm. You knew they were glowing as well. You stared down. "I-i.... i-"

"It did" He answered, looking away. You brought your head up, a shocking expression present on his mutant face. The blue clad turtle sighed quietly. "The kiss did mean something... something important..." he continued. You kept yourself quiet, listening. The grip on the bed soon loosened, allowing you to finally breathe calmly. "How do I tell you?" Was the question you caught under his breath.

However, you weren't sure since he was murmuring after all.

"Hm? What was that?" You asked, feeling that your voice cracked when you spoke.

"Y/N" He spoke, settling himself in your bed so he could face you. You then felt his hands touch yours. Those turtle hands. You felt your whole face heat up, including your ears. You were just burning. You were glowing a really bright red. Is this what you think it is? "What I'm trying to say is..." Yes. It is!

"I love you, too!" You blurted out as you pounced on him. You wrapped your delicate arms around his neck as you both finally fell onto the bed. You then gulped as you noticed what you have said and done. You placed your hands on his chest as you brought yourself back up. You frowned very nervously. There was no doubt that your whole body was burning. "Uh... I... I didn't mean t-" You were interrupted as he pulled you back down.

Next thing you knew, your lips were pressed against his. Your eyes were widened while his blue ocean eyes were shut tight. You could feel the warmth of his touch yours. You finally closed your eyes gently, letting yourself into this whole other universe.

You have your answer and you were pretty sure that your answer was very clear.

Of course, this is just the beginning of your love story.
