The Escape

He took off his helmet and it was Adam. I said,"Adam? Adam!" I ran and gave him a hug." He held me tight for a bit and then set me down. I asked,"What are you doing here? Its to dangerous.' He smirked and said,"I came for you." I had so many questions, but before I could get one out he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the one room. He closed the doors and locked them. Then when we turned around a lot of guards were standing in formation. We were startled and Adam looked at me and I knew exactly what I need to do. I pushed out my hands and all the guards went flying back. We rushed around them and continued down the hallway. We rounded the corner and saw the exit. We ran faster towards the exit. As I touched the door to run out, it turned to ice. I punched the door so it would fly off. Then a loud alarm sounded. I grabbed Adam's hand and started running. Then I knocked some guards out of the way and we headed for the main street. Some guards were chasing us, but we lost them in the alley. We took a quick breather and then we started going towards his house. When we walked in his parents were sitting on the couch with police officers waiting for him. When he entered his mom said crying,"Adam!" He hugged her and the police walked out the door saying,"Have a nice day." As they were walking out, they stopped in front of me and put handcuffs over my hands. I was confused, but then my dad and brother walked in. My dad said,"Let go of her!" I used my powers to break free. I ran over to Josh to hug him. Then the agents from earlier came in and put some glowing handcuffs around my wrists. I tried to break free, but they wouldn't budge. Then one of the other police officers that came in said,"Your going somewhere to train your powers." I didn't know what to say so all I could get out was,"A-wh-at d--ddo you me--an?" He said,"Get in the car and I'll show you." I got into the cop car and we pulled up on the old S.T.A.R Labs building. He took off my handcuffs when we got inside. I said,"What are we doing here?" He smiled at me and said,"Come with me." I followed him to a room that opened up into different coradoors. Then a kid whom I knew from a story on the news was standing with some other people. The police officer said,"Barry, this is Emily. She needs your help to control her powers." Barry looked at his friend Cisco Ramon. Cisco said,"Hi, I'm Cisco Ramon," he took his hand out to shake mine. When I shook his hand he scream,"WOW! That's cold." I smiled nervously. Caitlin Snow has powers too so she could help me control them. Barry said,"Ok, let's get started." I followed him to a room with a big track. He said,"Ok, let's see what powers you have." He pointed to the track. I smiled and we got started with the training. After about 2-3 hours of training we found out that I have freeze powers, laser vision, teliconises, super speed, and super strength. We did a few test to see how fast I could freeze things. I did pretty well if I do say so myself. Then Caitlyn came in and she froze the object in less than 20 seconds. I started at her in awe. She pulled back from using her powers and said,"Now that is how you do it." She smiled at me and then walked away. I ran after her and she stopped me and put her hands on my shoulders and she started saying something about it's hard to control her powers. I cut her off and started to get her angry and then her hair turned a different color. While her hands were still on my shoulders, her hands turned cold, like ice. She got angrier and her hands started freezing my shoulders. I tried to tell her to stop, but it seemed like she couldn't hear me. The pain started to get worse and I yelled for Barry. He came running and grabbed her and pulled her away from me to calm her down. I dropped to the ground holding my shoulder in pain. Barry called to me and said,"Start viderading, it'll warm you up." I started vibrating and soon the pain went away. After Barry calmed Caitlyn down, we trained more. After we trained it was time for me go up against Caitlyn. We got in the arena. We both stared at each other. The police officer, Joe West, asked Barry,"Is this a good idea?" Barry noded and Cisco came on the intercom and said,"Let's let the fight begin." Caitlyns' hair turned white and her hands had frost coming from them. I flew up and started firing laser beams at her. She dodged them except for one. I hit her in the arm, but the cut healed quickly. She fired her ice at me and one almost hit my arm. I threw my arms out and she went flying back. I went over to her while she was laying on the ground. She turned around and blasted me with ice. I went flying back into the wall. I dropped to the floor, Barry came running over to me. He was trying to help me up, as I looked up I had a deep cut on my head that kept bleeding and I had sprained my wrist. Since I had rapid healing powers the pain only lasted about an hour or two. The cut on my head still kept bleeding and Caitlyn didn't know how to stop it. It was finally time to do more training. I had to work on my aim, but I got better once we practiced more. After a month or two I was ready to go back home. I control my powers much better than before. Everyone was so worried about me that they texted me non stop. They worried about me too much sometimes. It sometimes gets annoying.
