*ring* "What?" I say to my friend Carrie. "Um, what are you doing?" she asked. She knew what I was doing though. I was up at the top of a tree trying to get a peck of my crush Melanie. Not in a pervy way I just what to see her. "(Y/N) I know you're at the top of that tree over there. I live next to Melanie." "I don't care. I just what to see her." I said knowing how crazy I sounded at the moment. "Okay. Whatever, goodbye." That's when Carrie hung up. As I was putting my phone back in my pocket I fell. My luck was Melanie had just walked into her room and saw me. She saw then ran down her stairs to see if I was okay. "Oh My God! (Y/N), are you okay? Why were you up there?" Melanie said frantically as she tried to help me up. "I.. Um... Was just bird watching and slipped?" I said knowing how dumb that sounded. "Okay? Are you sure your okay?" Melanie asked. "Yeah, Melanie I'm fine. "You should at least come in and have something to drink." She said as Mel dragged me into her house. "What would you like to drink?" Melanie asked. "Um.. Just water please." I said while sitting on her couch. Her parents weren't home they must work really late. "Here you go." Mel had brought me my water while she had chocolate milk. She insisted on showing me her shooting it out of her two front teeth. It was actually pretty funny. We just hung out after that. We watched some TV and talk about school. While I was invested on the TV Melanie looked at me like this

"What?" I asked Mel. I mean I don't want to complain but she was kinda staring at me. That's when she just kissed me and I didn't know what to do. I guess I didn't kiss back fast enough because she pulled away and started apologizing for it. I couldn't get her to stop so I kissed her. I kissed Melanie. My crush. I kissed my crush. And she kissed back. After that and another kiss or two, we just sat there and talked.

We sat there and talked for hours. We ended you falling asleep and Melanie's parents found us on the couch sleeping next to each other. All I dreamed about that night was getting to take Melanie out for our first date.
