It was always fun touring with Melanie when you could. But, there would be times when you would be down in the dumps. You would ether be getting sick all the time from you low immune system or you would just feel like you were in the way of the crew or even Mel at times. Mel always says that she prefers you with her, but she wants you happy as well. Melanie had scheduled a day for you two just to hang and for Mel to rest. You had decided that you won't to go get lunch. So you and Mel, hand in hand, walked down the Main Street of restaurant and other tourist stuff. Melanie wanted to go to the restaurant that looked like a diner had exploded in it. But, you said "Yeah, we can eat there." Once you and Mel had ordered she started talk about everything and anything. You usually love listening to Mel talk, But you just stared out the window. Melanie saw and said " Are you okay (Y/N), you are a little out of it today?" It wasn't unusual for you to space out, But not during you and Melanie's, what she likes to call you twos "fun" time. You just replied with a "Yeah babe, I'm fine, there is nothing you have to worry about." But, you lied. You lied big time, and if Mel found out she would be devastated. There wasn't anything wrong with you per se. You were just kinda sad. But Mel hated it when you were sad. She physically got upset that you were sad. You just didn't what that to happen again. Melanie knew though. She knew you were sad and she was determined to make you happy. So she picked up the thing that was holding the sugar on the table and just poured it into her mouth.

She looked to she if she got a smile out of you, But all Mel got was a "really" look. It bothered Melanie that that's all she got out of you. She would usually get at least a small grin. This made Mel mad, not at you, just that she couldn't get you too smile. So, when you went to the bathroom after the meal Mel ordered a chocolate milkshake with two straws. Mel knew that this had to make you smile. You were a sucker for romantic stuff like it. When you got back to the table, you did smile, and told Melanie that it was super sweet. Then, you both drank it. You and Mel had walked around the town the rest of the day. When you two got back to the bus Mel asked you why you were sad. You reminded her of what you said at the restaurant, But she would not let it go. She became the unfortunate but fortunate cuddle monster. She refused to stop cuddling with you until you told her why you were sad. The truth was that you didn't know, you just had a case of the blues. Melanie accepted that as an good answer. But, said she wasn't going to stop cuddling you because she was comfortable.
