Kai

3pm december 5th
11 days before I died... 

Kai didn't come in today for unknown reasons. I tried to call him, he didn't pick up. I tried to snapchat him, he didn't reply. All i wanted to know is why he drew them pictures, after all it was abit suspicious that hes not talking to me after i found out. The bell rang to go home, me and the girls went straight from school to town. We strolled through the front entrance of school. Amber stopped because the lighting was good so she "had" to take selfies. "Can we carry on" I laughed.
"All of you get in" she said "quickly." We all stood next to her for the picture. We probably took 10 but it was worth it according to Amber.

Finally we got to town, looking around I saw my friends from other schools, they were smoking something that didn't look like a cigarette. One of the girls walked up to me,
"Holly oh my god I haven't seen you since last sat" she laughed whilst she hugged me tight. She passed me the joint I took a couple tokes out of it and pasted it back. "Apparently your moving to my school?" I asked her.
"No your school won't accept me haha" she told me. We hugged bye and she said bye to Amber, Chanel and Addilyn as we went our separate ways.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours, I walked down the McDonald's stairs and my mum was waiting for me outside in her car. I got in and it smelled like her vanilla perfume, "Soo did you speak to Ryan today?" My mum asked before she burst into laughter. Me and my mum were inseparable told her everything, she would tell me everything she was my true best friend. "Well, I didn't really see him today but it's fine" I said. We drove around for a while just talking about life.

Driving along the street, looking around at the houses and wondering who lived inside and what stories they had to offer. We drove past Kai's house, we noticed an ambulance outside with a body being wheeled into it. We saw Kai's  mum crying whilst her husband was being interviewed by a cop. "What happened here" my mum asked with a hint of guilt. "I have no idea, Kai wasn't in school today" I told her. We got out of the car and rushed over to the house. "Stay back" one of the policemen yelled at us. "Please Kai's one of my best friends" I pleaded. I ran past up to the ambulance there there Kai was, dead... his eyes wide open and he laid there unconscious. I fell onto the ground crying, my mum ran over to me and picked me up. Even tho she did not know Kai that well she cried along with me.

10pm

I was laying on my mattress looking at the ceiling. I was still in shock over seeing Kai's lifeless bodying lying there. I kept tossing and turning and I heard a knock at me door. "Come in" I faintly said. It was my mum holding two cups of hot chocolate with whipped cream and mini marshmallows. She set a side the hot chocolates and sat down next to me and started to play with me hair. "How you feeling" she asked me. "Too much" i said before a tear rolled out of my eye. "Have you heard anything about what happened?"
"No sweetheart" she told me. She picked up the hot chocolates and passed one to me. We both took a big sip at the same time. "Fuck that's hot, shit I didn't mean to swear" my mum panicked, we both burst into laughter. For a moment I had forgotten everything that had happened and I was just living in the moment.

"Schools cancelled for the rest of the week" my mum told me, I was relieved but still upset at the same time. We sat there for an hour drinking the hot chocolates. We didn't talk but i needed someone to be there with me. She got up and took the empty mugs out of the room, "goodnight I love you" She said to me.
"I love you too, goodnight" I said back whilst laying down and putting on some music.
