Packs

A pack is the biggest part of a werewolf's life. Werewolves live and survive off their pack. Without one it's a hard life.

There are a lot of elements to pack including Ranks, But I'll explain that in another chapter. 

Within a pack is the pack house. The pack house is a huge mansion where majority of the pack lives. The house will often also have a huge room that is used for natural disasters or meetings were everyone in the pack is involved.Some families chose to live in seperate houses around the packs territory

The pack house will also rooms for visiting packs of another pack house for the visitors. Packs will also have bunkers. Pregnant women and young children will go to the bunker if an attack was to happen.

Attacks can be from rogue(s), Hunters, Vampires or another pack. (I'll explain hunters, rogues and Vampires in another chapter too)

The Pack will function a lot like a community so they may have their own School, Hospital, Park, restaurants, jobs, sport clubs, Shopping malls and way more.

The pack house and territory will be hidden inside a forest for 2 reasons. In most stories Werewolves are unknown to humans so they tend to stay away from towns and cities and 2 because their part wolves their wolf side will want to be surrounded by nature.

 The author may say they can live many years without nature however every author agrees that unless your special werewolves can't go more then a month without shifting 

In a lot of stories the wolf side will actually talk to the human in their mind. The human side will SOMETIMES look to their wolf side for guidance. I say sometimes because some authors will make the wolves seem so forward it's awkward or so stupid it's funny but embarrassing to the human. (For older people Horney) 

Some packs will be near cities for things they need while other packs can be in the middle of nowhere.

In a lot of stories some packs will be rich because of the huge company the leaders of the pack own. 

Let's face it who wouldn't want to be rich, and besides werewolves stomachs can be a bottomless pit, with the amount of food the pack house consumes the pack better be rich to be able to feed all those mouths. 

Pregnant she-wolves will eat more then the male wolves do. She-wolves is the term often used in the werewolf gene for female wolves.

Packs are always named, what their named is up to the author. However packs are usually named after a last name (you'll find out soon why) or a name that has some similarity to nature of the moon. 

For Example  Bloodmoon Pack, Crimson River Pack, White Mountain Pack, Mist Forest Pack, Vengen Pack. (Vengen is last name I made up, If you have that last name or something similar sorry)

Packs will also train to fight together and spend time with each other.If the pack sends teenagers to a human school the werewolves will stay away from the humans and only socialise with

A downside of being part Werewolf is that the more powerful the werewolf the more hot-headed, protective, competitive, dominate and stubborn they are. Which can often lead to wars between packs. How much they train is up to the author. In a lot of stories packs are ranked, the high ranked the pack is the more the pack will train so they can keep their rank. 

In the past werewolves used to be extremely sexist. Mated women were to wear modern clothes only, the clothes covered their arms, legs and every other part of their body. The only skin shown was their hands and face. 

Unmated females could be forced to only wear rages that would leave them exposed to the cold.

Sometimes they would even be slaves to the men. They could be raped and no one would care as they saw nothing nothing wrong with it. 

They had no power, no voice, no respect and they were expected to give the male pups and clean their home what was worse was that they couldn't do anything to stop it. Men thought that their only 'use' was children and slaves.

They weren't allowed to fight in armies, if there LUCKY they were healers. They didn't have jobs like

If they didn't do what they were told when they were told they were abused and torched like criminals.

In heaps of stories some packs are still like that. It saddens me but its how the past goes and we can't change that.
