A soft light crept over my face. I slowly opened my eyes, and turned over in the bed. The man sleeping next to me was gone. A sliver of light and a soft humming was coming from behind the bathroom door. I turned onto my back, starting up at the dark ceiling. A shiver emerged from my body and I reached out and picked up my wand from the bedside table.

"Incendio" I whispered, pointing at the wall in front of the bed.

A small flame lit up the large fireplace. I snuggled back down into the bed, pulling the warm comforter around me. I laid there, trying to fall back into my deep slumber. Several minutes passed before I decided to get up.

I sat up in the bed, holding the sheet around me while I reached for a robe at the foot of the bed. I slid my arms into it and wrapped it around me, tying the silky ribbon around my waist. I stood up from the bed, my feet barely touching the ice cold floor before I decided against it. I sat back in the bed, waiting for the room to warm before I left the bed again.

With the light of the fire growing, I was able to see the bed I had spent the night in. Four large, dark posts rose from each corner of the bed, intricate designs carved into each one. I reached out and ran my hand down one, my fingers gliding over the smooth wood. I sat back in the bed, admiring the comforter covering it. The silky, deep green reflected the golden flames growing in front of the bed. In the middle, a large crest embroidered in silver thread. I decided to finally get up from the bed, I had better get dressed and back to my bedroom before Hermione woke for breakfast.

My foot hit the ice cold floor and a chill ran through my body. I thought about climbing back into the bed once more, but I had to find my clothes and head back to my room. I stepped out of bed, grabbing my wand to help me find my clothes. Yet, when the light touched the floor, my clothes were no where in sight. I began to walk around the monstrous bed, maybe my clothes were on the other side. It was dark the previous night anyway, they could've been anywhere. When I came to the end of the bed, however, I found my clothes. There, on a large dark couch, sat my clothes, folded neatly with a note on top telling me that a spell had been used to clean them.

A light slowly flooded the room, my eyes darting up to its source. A dark silhouette stood in the bathroom doorway. A smile spread across my lips as a deep, velvety voice escaped the figure.

"Good morning, my love."
