You huffed out an air and brushed your hair to the back looking outside the window of your boyfriend's apartment.

He noticed the long face you were making wondering what it is that was bothering you. Taking a step towards you and sitting beside you, you glanced up to him and smile tiredly.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"Nothing's wrong, I'm just tired from work," you said as you eyes wandered back to the outside world.

He grabs your hand holding it gently.

"You heroes are so thirsty for justice," he snorted.

"Oh sorry Mr.Villain it's always been a dream of mine," you snorted back.

"That's a lame dream," he chukled.

You laughed softly and went back to look outside watching the citizens crossing the road and passing by each other sometimes you forget that you, yourself, used to live a normal life like them.

And you wondered how that would be if you still are. Will you be with him like you are right now?

"You know, sometimes it sucks being a hero but seeing them smiling makes me love this job," you said putting your hand on the window.

"Why don't you try joining the League of Villains?" he asked.

"Playing the Villain is not my expertise, thank you very much," you said.

"Why do I love you?"

"Because I'm awesome," you grinned.

He pulled you in his arms.

"No you're not, I wouldn't date you if you are"

"What am I then?"

"A geek, a hero geek," he laughed.

You got annoyed when he teased you so you punched his chest and got out of the hug.

He winced in pain learning that it was a strong punch, sometimes there are limits when it comes to teasing you he knows but your reaction was too cute that he can't help it.

That's when your phone vibrated. You picked it up and checked the text that was sent you.

You sighed.

"Work again?" he asked.

"Yeah"

"Do you have to go?"

"I'm sorry," you smiled sadly.

He stood up from the sofa and approached you, holding you in his arms. Your reached your hands to his cheeks pulling him closer to you. You pecked his lips.

"I'll give you a big hug once I get home," you said to him and you hugged him tightly.

"Come home safely," he said squeezing you to his chest.

"Can't breathe!"

You both didn't know that it would end up like this. Half of the city was destroyed and everything was in ruins and it was the work of the League of Villains.

You hate them even though your boyfriend is one of them, it's just their leader is insane for making everything worst. You were fine but there were some wounds on you from fighting one of them.
