You honestly love animals but animals doesn't really love you back, you don't know why but everytime you try to touch or get near them they'd run away. Even cats and dogs hate you too, so you just prefer to watch them from afar instead of showing them your love.

You were suffering not in a bad way nor in a good way but the urges of wanting to cuddle and squeeze them took the better of you, especially the cute ones. It somehow made you think that you have no luck with animals.

As you walk down the hallway and went to the back of the school building you spotted someone sitting on the bench surrounded by animals. You bit back your jealousy just by looking at him and sighed.

It was lunch time so you usually hang out by yourself at the backyard you have friends bur you prefer to spend time to yourself once in a while. Not everybody should be with people all the time.

You opened your bento and start eating your food one by one trying your best to ignore his presence and the animals around him.

But you couldn't helped it, your eyes were urging you to look, they were betraying you because you sworn that you saw a raccoon, your favorite animal. You bit your lips and shove as much food as there are in your bento to keep you distracted.

"Can I touch them?" you unconsciously asked making you curse under your breathe for being the idiot you always were.

The fish-head turns his attention to you wondering if your were talking to him and as if you spoke his mind you sighed.

"Yes, I'm talking to you," you groaned as you were fuming with jealousy by the sight of the animals around him.

His lips turned into a friendly smile and motioned you to sit beside him. You felt heat rushing to your cheeks feeling like you earned something you've been longing for. So you closed your bento and brought it along with you and sat beside him.

But the animals that were from your seat ran to his side.

Of course even if there is someone that attracts animals, wherever you'd be or who you're with they'd avoid you.

So you turn to him and ask.

"How come animals like you?" you asked but he didn't answered as he was too busy dealing with the animals.

You smiled watching him handling them. You don't know why but despite him being so quiet he is actually gentle and it warms your heart seeing him interacting with them. You felt quite envious.

Then a bird flew on your shoulder. A gasped escaped your mouth because it surprised you no animal have ever wanted to come near you even birds but this was the first time. It was the first time that an animal approached you first.

Your hands were shaking nervously as you slowly reach towards the bird's head scared that it might flew away.

Until you touched its soft feather.

It stayed.

"FINALLY!" You screamed in victory making the guy beside you smile.

"Did you see that? It's the first time! It's the first animal that approached me first! Oh my god is this the start of my love story with animals?!" you squealed.

"What's your name?" you asked.

"Koda," he said.

"I'm [Y/N]!" you grinned. "Let's be friends fish-head!" you shook his hand happily.

But what you didn't know is that Koda actually used his quirk to make one of the animals to open up to you. How innocent you looked he decided to keep it a secret.
