Detention ~ Jensoo

The school bell rang as Jennie walked into the first class of the day, right on time. The teacher started taking roll, calling out names one-by-one. Jennie is paying attention as he comes to the Ks. "Kang Jinwoo", the teacher calls out, and a young man answers, "present!". "Kim Jennie?" Jennie looks up and smiles at the professor, politely saying "here!". "Kim Jisoo?" the professor calls out, followed by the typical sentence of disapproval, "Of course she's not here, why am I not surprised?" Jisoo walks in, sporting her dashing red hair and flawless skin. She's wearing a crop top, exposing her well toned abs, and slight cleavage as well. She has a short skirt on, with boots to her knees. Jisoo looks at the professor and sits down, following it up with a call of "present!". "Jisoo you're too late for that. That's your tenth tardy this semester, and it's only the third week of school. I will need to see you in the principal's office later on today." Jisoo groans and walks out of class, inciting a sigh from the teacher. Jennie stares at Jisoo, mesmerised by her new look, the red hair flowing beautifully as she walks out like a badass. Everyone in the class starts gossipping as she walks out.

After all, Jisoo had somewhat of a bad reputation in school. She often walked out of class if she was scolded, and was used to being bitchy to the other students. Jisoo came from an elite family, her family held shares of more than fifty percent of the school they attended. And everyone knew what she was like. She never could stand any criticism, and she was not used to hearing the word "no" as an answer. This wasn't her only shortcoming. Everyone in the school knew that she was somewhat of a player. Most girls and guys had stories of Jisoo getting drunk during parties, even going as far as sleeping with random partners every weekend. She never really held back, because she didn't have to. Jisoo knew she didn't have to study. Her parents were multi-millionaires, who often came to bail her out when she got in trouble. She was the most fearless student at the school. She would push students around in the hallways and would bully others for their looks. No matter how Jisoo acted, one thing was for sure. In terms of style and looks, she blew everyone out of the water. Year after year, Jisoo would win the regional beauty pageants, drawing envy from most other girls.

Jennie was not like those other girls. She found Jisoo appalling. Jennie was the complete opposite of Jisoo. She was studious, hard-working, and kind of geeky. While other girls would go party over the weekend and get drunk, Jennie was usually studying for her next exam. When she got bored, she went to the library to read. And she had a good reputation too. Anyone that knew Jennie, knew that she was a great kid. Jennie came from a somewhat wealthy background as well, her dad used to come to drop her off in his Porsche SUV. Word on the streets was that he was a doctor and businessman, and they lived in a prestigious area in Gangnam. Where Jennie lacked was in showing off. She never acted bossy. She never bullied anyone. In fact, she was often exposed to bullying because she chose to study on weekends, instead of having fun with girls like Jisoo. But there was no doubt that Jennie was a beautiful girl herself. And while most guys at the school fell for Jisoo's bad girl persona, Jennie didn't have any less admirers, often drawing the attention of the good kids in school.

Jisoo arrives at the principal's office, slightly late as usual. Principal Young-Soo is furiously walking back and forth in his office. "Jisoo, I don't care what your background is. For me you are a student at this school and you must behave accordingly! Arriving late daily demonstrates the lack of drive you have a student. And it will develop into a horrible habit in the future. You will have to sit through detention today." Jisoo pulls her phone out to text her dad to bail her out again, but is met with a ruler to her wrist. She drops her new phone and the screen cracks. "You'll pay for that mister." she says obnoxiously. "Kim Jisoo, money cannot buy you everything. And it sure hasn't bought you any respect. Detention. After school. Now get out of my office." "You know I can get you fired right? Do you forget who you're speaking to?", Jisoo says with a raised tone. She storms out of the office and into the hallway, where she meets Jennie. "What the hell are you doing here sexy?" Jisoo says, as she pulls on Jennie's shirt and pulls her closer. It's pretty obvious she hasn't gotten into any trouble. Probably getting an award for best student or something.. Pfft. "Oh nothing, um I'm trying to join the honors society. And hey, right back at you!" Jennie says, followed by a wink.
