Meg's world is turned upside down when a mysterious man starts a school shooting in their small and normally peaceful town of Everdeen and, to make matters worse, kidnaps her beloved twin sister Lois.
With the help of a suspiciously attractive stranger, she must suffer through the trials to find her sister as the shooter slowly kills her.
