Author's Note: Hi, guys! For the one's who have been waiting for me to actually post it, sorry! Thank you for being patient with me. I just have gotten my days and night's mixed up, and I tend to sleep during the day. I just woke up about an hour ago, lol. Well, there you have it! I hope that you enjoyed it.
It was quiet until I finally spoke up, breaking the silence. "You know, I don't even like who I am." I could tell he was looking at me, but I didn't dare to look at him. I just fixated my eyes on what was in front of me: the dark sky.
He swallowed loudly, his voice barely audible, "And why is that? You look so happy with your friends and your boyfriend. What's his name? Jake?"
That's when I looked at him. I stared deep into his eyes, not speaking. This boy would never know what I go through. Never.
"Yeah, I guess so, Luke," I agreed with him. I really didn't want to explain how much I wanted to be different from the others. He thinks I look happy, you should look at him. He could have a genuine conversation with his friends. He could have a real relationship with his friends. He could have a happy relationship with his girlfriend.
Those are the things that I couldn't never have.
"You see those stars, Fiona?" He spoke quietly, pointing at the sky. More of the stars, to be specific.
I nodded my head, listening to his voice. "Those stars shine bright, just like you."
