"Just please don't do it again." I don't reply as I hold her tighter.

"Mr. Adrove, do you wish for me to tell the cooks to remake the Miss's food?"

"Yes, thank you Sofia." She bows and heads down to the kitchen.

"But I'm not hungry."

"You need to eat."

"But..."

"No buts. And that's final."

"Then can you at least let me go?" I slowly let her go.

"You run really fast." I say trying to change the subject.

"Yeah I was in track during high school, and I still run here and there."

"I box and practice different martial arts."

"Which ones." She ask genuinely interested.

"Well, karate, taekwondo, judo, and kendo, but kendo isn't really a martial art, it's the Japanese version of fencing."

"So you said I get three wishes right?"

"Yes." I say hesitantly wondering what she was up too.

"I want to learn to defend myself and to shoot."

"That's two wishes."

"Nu huh, Learning to shoot falls under self defense." I chuckle.

"You would make a good business women."

"Too bad, because I wish to be an officer." I look down at her as a sad look crosses her face.

"Very well, I will grant your wish, and will teach you self defense."

"When can we start?" She asks excitedly.

"Tomorrow, but for now you need to eat."

"So am I on house arrest or can I walk around outside?"

"Well that depends

"Mr. Adrove."

"What is it."

"Uh well, you um,..."

"Get to the point!" I snap.

"Yes sir! You have a guest waiting for you in your office."

"Who is it?"

"Its y-your mother, sir."

"Now what does she want?"

"Now that is not how I raised you to speak to people Killy sweetheart."

"Mother please."

"Don't speak to me like that." She says whacking the back of my head. She huffs and fixes her clothing. "Now, who is this lovely young lady?"

"Mrs. Adrove, I-I'm Avery, Avery McKinley. It's very nice to meet you."

"Oh please just call me Lillian. Now what did my son do to get such a nice girl like you here."

"Mother that's not very..." She cuts me off.

"I wasn't speaking to you Killy."

"He um, he..."

"Now don't be afraid dear, ignore that brute."

"He kidnapped me." She mumbles. Seconds pass with no reply.

"He did what?" She asks darkly. "Killian Michael Adrove, you have a lot of explaining to do."

"Yes mother." I sigh, knowing there's no point in arguing.
