Light, Darkness, and Angels

My lotus flower, I see your light.

I hear your call, your voice more heavenly than an angel.

Great darkness surrounds my land, and the sadness burdens me.

My heart pulses,

For the fear of the darkness to make way in my mind.

My goddess, I still want to love you, but I feel as if I'll lose that everlasting love and passion that still remains.

Dark angels, dark world.

My dear, my world is a cruel world.

Through my window, I see the angels,

How they mock me.

They have Griffin bodies and majestic wings, and shark teeth.

They play their harp every sunrise and sunset.

They smirk, their teeth as black as coal.

Oh, my lotus flower, I can taste my own failure.

I've failed you over and over again.

I will give everything to see you again.

I promise.
