AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Note that I don't always go back to re-read over the chapters I write to check for any missing words or autocorrect mistakes. So yea, if you see any mistakes or it doesn't make sense that just means I was too lazy to check over it.

I'll try my best to make it interesting..

Chapter 1

"YOU DID WHAT?!" I screeched, throwing my hands in the air with anger.

"I know it seems bad now, but you'll learn to love it once you get to know the boys," uncle Marcie tried reasoning.

Sounds more like a hookup than a summer job. Me and my dirty mind. Wait.. I don't even want a summer job!

"I don't even want a summer job!"

"But you love sports," uncle Marcie shot a smile and crossed his arms.

"Ok fine, but even IF I do agree, where would I have to travel to?"

"Brazil, simple as that. Plus, you know my friend, Felipão, right?"

"Yea, Luiz Felipe Scolari AKA Felipão. How could I forget when you're always talking about him?"

"He's the coach, and he offered it. You leave tomorrow, he needs you right away."

"And you tell me at the last minute?!?!?" I snapped, so close to strangling him with my bear hands. I gave him a death glare, clenching my teeth, and breathing hard.

I am a very violent person. I have bad anger issues that I can sometimes control but not always. That's why I play basketball not because I'm good at it, but because I can get my anger out that way.

"They need you.. They go against Cameroon in the next three days."

I groaned and jogged my way up the stairs. I'm a 20 year-old girl who just wants to have this summer; I worked the past few years. This year I thought I could just be young and free, apparently not. I finished university early, due to my high IQ. Guess I shouldn't complain, some people have more problems than me that are worst.

My phone started ringing, I plopped stomach flat on my bed and answered my phone.

"Helloooo," I said.

"Hey hey, so tell me the dets."

It was Crystal. I don't really look at the names when my phone rings, unless they interrupt me during my music time. That's when I check to see who I go bitch on.

I giggled, "How would you know if I have news for you? Stalk much?"

"Ha! Yea sure, but you are Catherine Pierce, you always have news for me. So out with it."

"Ok, I guess that's undebatable.."

"I'm waiting.." Crystal said, impatiently. I shook my head and went back to topic.

"Ok so, Uncle Marcie accepted a job offer for me. But get this, I never knew about it until now and I leave tomorrow."

"WHAT?!! I thought this summer would be about funnnn!"

"That's what I thought, but apparently not.. Aye, I got to go pack, I'll text you when I'm done. Bye."

"Ok.. Bye."

I hung up and checked the time. It was 9:39 pm. I closed my phone and started picking out my clothes I would need for a whole 2 months of summer. I'm basically just gonna put half my closet in my luggage knowing myself. Mind as well do that.

Yeap, I was right. Surprisingly 90% of my clothes fit in that one suitcase. Then I have a backpack with two new bottles of shampoos and conditioners, two new bottles of lotion, makeup for parties, and hair stuff to keep it healthy. I can't live without lotion, I love lotion, it keeps my skin moisturized.

My phone vibrated on my bed. I jumped, grabbing my phone with me, and plopped down. I love doing that. It was a text from Crystal; that girl cannot get enough of me.

Crystal: Cat Cat Cat Cat Cat, I'm calling you now.. :)

Cat: ok, I'm done anyways.. C:

"Well hello there," I said in the worst Southern accent ever.

"I'm gonna hang up on you if you dare to try that again.." Crystal threatened, I smirked and thought about trying it again. Nah, I shouldn't.

"I just finished packing, surprisingly 90% of my clothes fit in one luggage."

"Let me guess.. And the 10% are the clothes you don't think are cute anymore. Am I right or am I right?"

"Psh.. Whaaaat.." I said in a high voice. I can feel Crystal just rolling her eyes at me in a playful way. "Ok so maybe you are right, that just means you know me. I like that."

I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Uncle Marcie knocked on the door.

"Sh.. Hang on.." I whispered and put my phone on my chest. Uncle Marcie let himself in, I rolled my eyes playfully. He peeked his head through.

"You leave early in the morning just to let you know.." He smirked and closed my door, my jaw dropped. He knows I'm not a morning person!

"Why do I feel like you did this on purpossssse!"

"Suck it up, baby girl."

I rolled my eyes at him and went back to Crystal.

"What was that about?" Crystal asked confused, I groaned quietly.

"Apparently I have to wake up early in the morning."

"Tell me again, why did you let your uncle stay over at your house when he has his own house?"

"Because he's family, for whatever reason I'm gonna let him. Stupid or not."

"Awe! You are warm hearted even though you act like you're mostly cold hearted."

"Hey! Watch it! I'll pull your vocal cords out." I threatened, annoyed knowing that I'm warm hearted. People took my kindness for granted, now I'm just a bitch.

The doorbell rung, I jumped a little on the inside. Whenever I'm interrupted by a deep thought I get jumpy.

"Hey, I gotta go.." I said quickly and then hung up. I ran downstairs, to the door, and glared a little to who I saw. The one and only Crystal. "Really? This is so cheesy.."

"Whatever, I'm gonna sleepover before you leave. I brought food, so don't even try to get rid of me."

Crystal just walked in. I shrugged and closed the door. Uncle Marcie walked out of the kitchen and smiled.

"Hi Uncle Marcie, how are you?" Crystal asked, being polite.

"I'm doing well, thank you, and how are you?"

"I'm great, thanks for asking." Crystal smiled, I gave Uncle Marcie a look and he shot me a look back. Crystal looked at Uncle Marcie and then back at me feeling awkward. "it's ok if I sleepover, right?"

"Of course! You're always welcome here."

She smiled being thankful and we ran into my room and watched movies and ate the whole night.
