I looked at Style and I can see that she’s shocked to see me but she still manages not to show it.
If it is the old Style she would freak out.
“Anak what are you wearing?”Tita Min said.
“You didn’t told me that this is a formal meeting”Style replied.
Kahit na nag bubulungan sila ay naririnig pa rin namin ito. Ano kayang klaseng bulungan yun? HAHAHAHA
“I’m sorry on what she is wearing it’s my bad”Tita said at umupo na sila ni Style.
She’s infront of me. Ni-hindi man lang nya ako matignan tssss..
Sakto namang dumating na ang mga pagkain. It’s just steak with some food that I really don’t know then wine.
Nagsimula ng kumain ang lahat kaya kumain na rin ako.
“We’ve been partners na for over a year right?”my dad said na ikinagulat ko.
“Over a year?”I asked.
“Yes iho”Tito teddy replied.
Isang taon na pala silang nag tatrabaho na mag kasama wala man lang akong kaalam alam.
I looked at Style and she is calmly eating.
“So since we are already working over a year”pambibitin pa ni Mommy.
Tumigil muna kami sa pagkain at nakinig sa sasabihin ng isa’t isa.
“And since everything is doing okay for the past year”isa pa tong si Daddy pabitin din!
Bagay talaga sila tsk!
“We’ve decided to have an engagement!”Tita Min said.
Natahimik kaming lahat at walang reaction ng magsalita si Style.
“Mom I have a boyfriend”
Boyfriend? Well I shouldn’t be surprise it’s been 3 years.
Ang bigat sa puso ah! Walanjo nakaktawa…
“Oh by the way, my daughter has a boyfriend his name is Paul Concepcion”Tito Teddy
“They owned a car company but obviously cars have nothing to do with our company”sabi naman ni Tita Min na ikinatawa nilang apat.
“Mom, Dad”pagangal muli ni Style.
“Why? Diba 3 years ago tumakas ka pa to be with Godwin?”Tito.
"Oo nga. Mag ex kayo right? You two just broke up when Style needed to stay here at LA. You loved each other"Tita
"Ayaw niyo ba yun? Mage-engage na kayo and sooner or later both of you will be married"my mom.
"We never dated each other and hindi naging kami. Yes we loved each other. Loved past tense."Style replied.
Yes we never been together pero nasaktan pa rin kita na parang naging mag asawa tayong dalawa.
"Style"Tita said at maririnig mo sa boses nito ang pagbabanta "Look at Godwin ni hindi nga siya nagsasalita"she added.
Now naalala ko lahat…
All the good memories and ofc the bad ones.
“I can still remember that ikaw lang ang bukang bibig nitong si Godwin!”my dad said.
Agad ko naman siyang siniko. NAKAKAHIYA!
“I’m sorry but I love Paul, Godwin is my past”Style said and walk out.
Bigla namang natahimik lahat and I can feel the tension.
“S-Susundan ko lang siya”Tita Min said.
“Don’t worry this will be okay, She’s kinda stubborn”Tito said and smile.
“It’s okay makakahanap ng katapat tong anak namin!”dad said and nagtawanan sila
Pipilitin na naman nila si Style. Then, si Style wala siyang magagawa kundi sumunod na lang.
Kung ikasal man kami I wouldn’t be happy because she’s not.
I’m her past and I will never be her future…
Style Lisha’s POV
What the hell?!
Can you believe it they wanted me to marry Godwin?!
I love Paul! Hindi ba pedeng pabayaan na lang nila ako?
Ginawa ko naman lahat ng gusto nila for the past 3 years!
Pati ba naamn mapapangasawa ko sila ang mag de-desisyon!
“Style!”I heard my mom shouted but I didn’t bother to stop walking “Stop now! Sinasabi ko sa’yo!”she added
Wala na akong nagawa pa’t tumigil na.
If I didn’t she’ll get my car or even my allowance. Parang bata no?
“What?!”I asked.
“Your manners!”she shouted
“You didn’t even excuse yourself kanina!”she added.
“Mom ginawa ko lahat ng gusto niyo pede bang palampasin niyo na lang to?”
“NO! This is for your future!”
“For my future or para sa future ng kompanya?!”I shouted.
I can’t take this anymore!
Punong puno na ako!
“This is for your own good okay?!”she said
“For my own good? In what way? Ni-hindi ga ako mapapsaya non e! Mommy! KAILAN KA BA MAGIGING INA SA AKI--

And that’s what I got for saying what I feel? I got slapped.
Wala akong masabi sa kanya! No, sa KANILA! Napaka gahaman nila sa pera!
Pati akong anak nila kaya nilang ipamigay para sa kompanya! Nakakatawa..
