When they arrived at the empty beach, only Hyejin and Seokjin were left awake, with Seokjin driving and Hyejin looking a bit green.

"Are you okay? Did you take medicine before leaving earlier?" Jin worriedly asks the girl who gripped her water bottle as Jin parked the car.

The car finally stops, but she still felt sickly.

"I'm fine..."

She feels the bile rising in her throat, so she grips the door and opens it, finding the nearest bush to empty out her stomach's contents.

She feels someone hold her hair back so she holds out her arm, which had a hairtie, and he ties it back, then settled to rubbing her back as she heaved over the bush.

"Oh god..." Hyejin gasps after gargling a bit of water. "I am sorry to whoever planted that bush."

"I'm sure they'll understand." Jin chuckled as she begins to stand up. He holds her arms to support her as she took deep breaths. "Are you okay?"

"I am now, thanks Jin." She smiled weakly before reaching for a pack of mints in her pocket. "Let's go wake the others."

"We should wake her up

"We should wake her up." Dayoung comments as she stirred in her sleep in the couches in Yoongi and Hoseok's room. She groaned, blinking at the light shining in her eyes.

"Oh, Dayoung..." She smiled sleepily. "You're here."

"Hye, you need proper rest." Dayoung helps her sit up. "Go home, please."

She shook her head in disagreement. She didn't want to. She still needed to watch over Jin.

Admitted, she's been camping in the hospital for almost a week, only going home to change clothes and doing laundry before returning yet again. The vending machines had become her best friend, so much that Bomi had pleaded the hospital's dietrician to force feed her some real food.

Seokjin still hasn't woken up, but his cuts have been healing well, especially the wound in his chest, which caused him a lot of blood loss. Its nice to think of the positives here, Hyejin convinces herself everytime.

"Hyejin-ah." Yoongi said from his bed. "You look like death. You need to sleep in a proper bed."

"I'm fine." She firmly said as the doors open with Jieun entering with a nurse, checking on their vitals.

"Hyejin..." Jieun started. "Please go home and rest. It's your day off. I'll watch Jin for you, promise."

"Sunbae... What if he wakes up? Or some complications?" Hyejin still sat firmly on her chair.

"And we'll be sure to call you. You have nothing to worry about Hye. Go rest." Jieun ushers her out of the room.

She sighed, settling down and walking out of the hospital, hailing a taxi to home with her bag in hand.

She didn't really want to go home. The flat seemed eerily quiet without the bustling made by Jin cooking something, or the small cries of his sugar gliders that Hera had taken home to care along with Yeontan and Happy, Hera's baby Shiba.

She felt more at ease to know that she can rely on Hera to take care of their pets. But now as she steps in their kind of shared apartment, as Jin still returns to the dorms every now and then, she wished the sugar gliders were here. It's even more quiet compared to when Jin was on long tours, and the emptiness of the apartment made her think more of him.

She quickly made kimchi boggeubapp with the remaining kimchi from Jin's mom and poured some pineapple juice for herself before sitting down on the couch and watching a movie rerun.

The beauty of Jin being around? He never allowed Hye to have an empty fridge.

Everytime she's on night shifts, Jin would sneak in and put side dishes in, cleaning up and cooking her meals when her shift's nearly ending. She would complain and tell him not to do it, that she can fend on her own as she says, but that never stopped him. So she let it be. And she grew accustomed to it.

Sometimes, his mother would be the one to bring food for the two of them, or sometimes, just for her. But that only happens when Jin is busy preparing for comebacks. She liked that the Kims took her in like their own, caring for her like they do with Jin.

Jin's presence always filled her life in little ways, but now it felt quiet and empty without him.

Twenty minutes later, she dozed off with the tv's background noise, food half finished. She hugged the pillow on her head tighter and inhaled. It still smells like him.
