Tyler's boy

the cafe and the car

        "No Tyler you will do this, you are strong enough for this", he says as he paces in his hotel room. He picks up the phone and dials. "Ohmygod", the line is ringing. Tyler's heart feels like its going to burst out of his chest until he hears a nice, warm, familiar voice on the other end, "hello, this is Andrew", Tyler freezes but then takes a deep breath to calm down, "hey Andrew its Tyler, I was wondering if you might want to grab some lunch", he exhales the breath that got caught in his throat, "yeah sure I'll meet you at the little cafe around the corner from the bar last night in ten minutes", Andrews voice was soothing to Tyler's rattling ears, "see you soon".

        With a large smile on Tyler's face he happily marched towards the cafe where he was told to meet Andrew. Tyler entered the small cafe Andrew hadn't arrived yet so he grabbed a table for the both of them ordering Andrew a water and himself a diet coke. 

        Its been 20 minutes since Andrew told him to be at the cafe, holding back tears he looked at the menu and hoped that he wasn't being stood up. With his face buried deep into his menu he hadn't noticed Andrew walking in with a single, white rose. 'Wow, he really is too good for me', Tyler thinks to himself, He gets up already blushing because of the rose the was being handed to him to hug the chilled Andrew. "Its really getting windy out there", Andrew states, " you look lovely darling". Once again Tyler blushed, his cheeks grow even redder this time, "Oh thanks", his voice a little weaker than usual. The boys ordered their food, Andrew having a grilled cheese and Tyler having a vegan burger. "So", Andrew started, " I need to say this now or i never will.. I think you are an amazing, cute, funny guy and i would love to get to know you better". This puts Tyler into a confused but happy state of mind, gleaming Tyler adds, " I feel the same way, I don't know what I have been doing without you truthfully, you are an amazing journey in my life right now not to be creepy". "No, I get it", Andrew adds reassuringly, "although we may have just met yesterday, you are a path I would like to go down on a heavenly journey babe". Not sure what to add Tyler asks for the check and pays for the two of them. When getting up to leave Andrew made sure he hadn't forgotten to take the rose that was given to him, and even helped Tyler put his jacket on which made Tyler feel spoiled and he actually liked it for once and didn't feel guilty. The two were walking along together to no where in particular, Tyler has always held himself up and sometimes that made him too tense so he tried to relax.

        They made it to a parking garage where Andrew kept his car but the two were having so much fun they couldn't bare to be miss a moment of their time together then out of no where Andrew pulled Tyler into a kiss, it had only lasted a few seconds but it lasted for days in Tyler's mind; he felt like he was floating among the clouds. Surprised Tyler didn't have time to react not that he knew what to do, hes never really kissed a guy before or a girl for the matter. Andrew sees the surprise and apologizes but Tyler told him the was no reason to be sorry, that it was his fault that he ruined the moment. "Hon", Andrew had that tone of voice that would calm a baby down from crying, "its okay, how about we go for a drive", he gestured to his car. Tyler had a guts instinct to not go but instead he said, "oh yes that would be fun". 'What a dope Tyler if you didn't want to do it you should have just said so', he thought to himself, 'oh well, too late to turn back now', he whispered to himself getting into the car.
