P.G. Chapter 2

Vanessa's POV

I roamed around the city with my hospital gown and bread knife only. I plucked some leaves from the bushes along the sidewalk and threw them in the air. God, I really missed being outside that stupid asylum.

As I continue walking, I saw a open store. I guess I'm going to get some clothes and food there. I crossed the street and stopped at the entrance, now it's time for my acting skills. I quickly dropped myself on the ground, prentending that I passed out, then hid the knife underneath me.

I felt the door infront of me opened then a lady started shaking my body to check if I'm still alive. "Oh my god." My eyes shot open then quickly stabbed her arm, she started screaming for help. I quickly stood up and said, "Don't you even dare call for help." I grabbed her hair then dragged her inside the store. She just continued screaming then I threw her to the wall.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I yelled. I started cutting her face and arms as she continues screaming in pain.

"PLEASE! STOP!"

"NEVER!" I stabbed her on her stomach and neck as she slowly reachs her death. "Finally, I can eat now." I grabbed a bag of chips and a can of soda and started eating like a pig. What? I just missed eating these snacks.

After 30 minutes eating some random food that I grabbed from the food aisle, I was finally full.

"Thanks for letting me stay here for a while, Miss." I said to the dead body. I went to the locker room and took her clothes, shoes and money. I washed my whole bloody body and changed into the cothes that I got from the lady.

After that, I got out of the room, grabbed my bloody knife off the floor and wiped the blood off from her uniform. I roamed around the store for a while and got a duffel bag and put some clothes, shoes, food, cans of sodas, water, my knife, and all of the money from the cash drawer. Yep, my duffel bag is big.

I went out of the store and looked for a place to stay.

Calum's POV

Tonight was so depressing, it was my first day at the asylum and I already saw a guy who was suffering to his death. Sheesh, I didn't really expected that to happen.

I went back to my apartment room and took a long warm bath, just to clear my head from the recent event that happened.

After that, I quickly wore my boxers, sweats and on the top, I'm shirtless. I also wore a beanie ontop of my head.

I went out of the balcony and played with my phone for a while. After a few minutes, I heard the sliding door on the other side opened. I must have a new neighbor, yay...

I looked to my right to see who my new neighbor is. I saw a girl, she is wearing a beanie, sweater, and tight skinnies. She looked at the sky and started talking to herself. Later on, she started singing a familiar song.

Don't you try to blame this on me.

My love for you was bulletproof but you're the one who shot me.

And god damn it, I can barely say your name,

so I'll try to write it and fill the pen with blood from the sink.

"Nice singing voice." I commented. She snapped out of her comfort zone and looked at me. She took one step backward and quickly went inside her apartment. "Okay..." I dragged my word.

I went back inside my apartment and threw myself on the couch and went to deep slumber...

•••Next Day•••

*knock**knock**knock* "Sir Hood? Are you awake?" I woke up from the knocking and someone calling my name. I took a look from my phone to know what time it is and it was 5 am.

"No shit, this early?" I groaned. I stood up from the couch and went to the door to open it. "Investigator, what can I do for you?" I asked as I yawned the last word.

"Good morning Kiddo. Can I come in? So I can tell you what happend last night?" he asked.

"Oh sure, uhm, please come in." I opened the door wider. He gave me a nod and looked around my apartment. I walked to my bedroom, took a shirt to wear and went back outside. "So, Investigator, what do you want to tell me?" I asked him.

"Please take a seat first, then we'll talk." I followed what he said and he did the same. "So, last night, a store got robbed and the one who was incharge got killed."

"And what does that have to do to me?"

"We know the killer and we think you also know the killer." I looked at him with a confused look until,

"Wait a minute, so do you mean the killer is, Vanessa?"

"You are correct Kiddo, the store has cameras and it took everything." the investigator informed.

"So, does that mean, her face can be seen?" I asked once more.

"Yes, the cameras are very clear. I already have the footage with me, do you want to watch it?" and with that, I nodded. Dereck took out his laptop and opened the file, 'VANESSA'S FOOTAGE'.

Vanessa pretending to pass out, killing the lady, eating some food, and stole stuff from the store. Investigator, Dereck paused the video to see Vanessa's face.

'That face looks familiar.' I thought. My eyes went wide and I remembered that face. "Th-that face,"

"What about the face?"

"I already met that exact face from last night." Dereck closed his laptop and placed it ontop of the coffee table.

"Where did you guys met?" he started asking

"S-she's my... my neighbor, from next door. She's living at the left side of my aparment." I said

"Well, we better arrest her now for making a crime." Dereck said as he stood up from the couch

"No wait! I'll take care of her, I promised the nurse last night." I stopped him.

"What promise? You didn't mentioned it last night."

"Uhmm... I c-can't tell you that." I told him hesitantly.

"And why can't you tell me?"

"Because it is my own duty sir, please, just deal with it." I let out a big sigh.

"Okay then, if you insist. But, if she tries to do anything to you, my team and I will capture and execute her for her crimes, got it?" I nodded. "Good. I better be going now, thank you for this little chat with you Kiddo." He said as he opens the door to get ut of my apartment then closed it shut.
