Do you wish to know me?
Then come close....
And you will hear the anger in the
Torrents of winds trapped within my lungs. Look into my eyes...
Behind them you'll see an ocean of tears that I hold back....
Dive in!
And at the bottom you'd find my
Broken heart, that still has love to give, but might never believe in love again...
Touch my skin...
And you'll feel the heat of the
Dying embers of the fire of passion
That once burned bright!
Pay attention to the words I speak,
And you'd find the pain and cries of help buried within them...
Listen to my voice..
And you'll hear the fading Melody
Of the song of happiness...
That I once used to sing!
Walk into my mind...
And you'll find memories of long,
Lost joy that I still treasure,
Along with thoughts of regret and hopelessness...
Hold me tight...!
And you'd feel the scars on my body,
And the wounds that still bleed!
All along .. you saw my beauty,
Humor, love and care..
Laughter and a pretty smile..
I tell you now!
That they are just walls I built outside...
While inside I wither and die...
Now you know me,
And so ask you...
Would you stay with me?
