10. Dreaming of...

Fullbody fell into the sea and I... I closed the window.

I hear Zeff stomping down the stairs, he surely won't shout at me, will he? We'll see...

The door to the dining room opens as I'm still looking out of the window after Fullbody.  "James! What's going on?!" Zeff asks me. I, still looking out of the window, say "Nothing, I just threw out the garbage."

"I thought you did thst this morning..?" Zeff mumbled "How are you? Not working to hard, are you?" Zeff asks slightly worried.

"I'm alright. The work isn't to bad, infact it's doing me good to help a little around here... I was feeling kinda useless before." I tell him, the last part makes him slightly frown.

"You are a big help, don't be felling useless..." He tells me, touching my shoulder in a comforting manner. I smile brightly at him, he shouldn't feel bad about it.

Just as we had our little moment Fullbody got out of the sea and had a coughing fit... -_-' Zeff walks over to the window.

I begin to get nauseous as I listen to his steps 'Toc, thump, toc, thump...'

Painfully slow he looks out and swiftly he draws his eyes over to me, I can see that he is trying to keep his cool, but even so I can see a vain beginning to form on his forehead. Better run... meh, I'm lazy... -_-

"Kora F. James." He begins, slowly he draws out every word, a little more and the shouting will start. I know it from experience...

"Yes?" I ask innocently. I'm getting quite the scare. He knows what I did, but... he isn't shouting?

"Who threw our customer out of the window?" He asks closing his eyes, he tries very hard to stay under control, I'm impressed he'd try as much as this for me... now I'm feeling bad.

"I-I did." I tell him honestly.

"Didn't I tell you to be moderate towards our clients? Why will no one listen to me?! You should stop the violance!! Why did you even through him out of the window?" Zeff says/ shouts.

"He insulted the cooks and the restaurant, I couldn't just stand there and listen..." I explained myself. I wouldn't have cared if he had hurt me, but this restaurant is like my home... my family.

"Just don't do the same next time kiddo." He says while ruffling my hair.  He gives me a proud smile whilst going away, looking for Sanji I guess...

"Sanji !" Yepp, Sanji...

I get back to work, doing nothing won't help anybody. I walk my rounds, taking orders here and there, bringing the customers their food and beverages, sweeping the floor, just doing my job.

At the end of the day when the last customer left I stole an apple from the kitchen, changed into some black training clothes and jumped up on the roof to train a little. I can't fall asleep without having blown off some steam before.

I train with my whipe and experiment a little with new methods of kicking and so on...

Finally tired I take a shower and jump into my bed, Luffy is sleeping on his ship.

I look out of my window and whilst observing the sky I slowly fall asleep...

I begin to run, to my left is the endless desert and on my right flows a sparkling river. I run after somebody.
