I sat there staring at them in disbelief.

Did they actually think that i would believe they were Irish... i mean Black Irish werewolves?

That was crazy.

Werewolves don't exist!

"Ok explain one more time..." i said to the three muddy boys standing infront of me.

They all opened there mouths to speak and i put my hand up to stop them, "one at a time. Scott go."

"Well see in the 1800s are family got cursed, because, well they pissed off alot of people. Every night we shift into werewolves. Were all cousins, actually are pack calls us 'The Three Alphas' cause there's this prophecy that has us in it and a girl but we haven't figured out who it is. Were supposed to make some big decision that could change the curse."

I put my hand up again," ok, Zane go. What's the prophecy?"

"Just a sec ill go get the book."

"Ok in the mean time," i turned my attention to Jackson," go."

"Remember when we were little and my mom used to tell us about all of my ancestors story's, and the legends of my family?"

I nodded

"There all true. But this isn't like twilight, stupid fucking movie, this is real life. There's no such thing as vampires or shit like that. It's just us. We don't kill anyone. We protect the city and its people from another pack that dose try to kill people. They live on the out skirts of the city.... but you have to understand the only reason i came here was so i could learn how to control myself and help get the curse lifted so i could go home to you with out worrying that i would snap and hurt you." He said as he came to sit by me," i never wanted to leave you Hill the only thing that kept me here was thinking that i was keeping you safe and that i would get the curse lifted. All i'v ever wanted to do is be with you." He finished and looked at me with hopeful eyes.

Zane saved me from answering by walking in the room holding an old book, "found it!" He said triumphantly.

Jackson looked up at him," you lost it?" He said with a stern voice.

"No, Scott did."

"Did not!" Scott piped up looking hurt that Zane had blamed him.

I rolled my eyes at them and laughed slightly, making them all look at me and smile.

''Ok here's the passage.

The three cousins make the choice to change there fate

The girl with the star, will disside the time.

The curse will crumble; the love will last.

The choice is there's, to take or to leave.

To break the pack thats been in between.

The witch told our ancestors that when she put the curse on them."

I replayed what he had said in my head over and over.

"What do you think the choice will be?" I mumbled more to myself then to the boys.

''Im really not sure." Jackson said rapping an arm around me and pulling me into him still dirty chest.

''Nu-uh." I said stopping him,"go shower first." I smiled up at him and he laughed at me.

"Fine." He sighed and stood up walking towards his room, the other boys on his heels.

When they had all left to shower i picked up the book and read the prophecy again.

I fiddled with the page flipping it back and forth absent mindedly, and running my fingers along the edge.

I didn't even realise what i was doing until my nail got caught on the page.

I turned the book on its side and took my finger off.

Where my nail got caught there was a small hole.

Slowly i managed to make the hole bigger until it was clear there was two pages stuck together.

I kept working on opening the other page without tearing the old book.

When I had the page open there was a second passage.

'The girl with the star has come to her fate

The time has come for the choice to be made.

For the loss of your love runs scars to deep

To mend the scar you first must mend the pack.

To break the curse all must trust.'

My hand flew to my lower back, where my birthmark was.

Even i had to admit, it did look like a star.

I searched the oppisite page for anything else, but it only had one word on it.

'Move.'
