I wake up on Friday, full of energy. Maybe it's because tonight is the football game against our biggest rivals, or if it's because Carrie and I have begun to advertise my designs and I have girls asking me about them, but no official orders yet. I told the girls that I did talk to, that I won't show them anything until after homecoming. Mainly because I don't want them to get their hopes up and then get disappointed in case I change my mind because I've been having doubts lately. But since today is the football game, I have to wear my uniform to school to support the team, even though we're not performing as a team tonight. The coach picked a new captain and will announce it at halftime tonight. Then, our captain now, Samantha, will perform her last solo. Our dance team is one of the most valued sports at our school, besides football and basketball. But everyone is super excited to find out who it is because whoever gets it, is the captain for the rest of this year and next year too, since the only senior on the team is graduating in January instead of June.

I go to my closet and search for my dance shoes, it's not hard to spot them since they are always parallel with my eyes and they're the only pair of white tennis shoes in my closet. I then go to my bed where I already set out my uniform. It's a long sleeve purple spandex top and matching short skirt that come to about mid thigh and it has a thick silver stripe going down the side. I tie my hair up in a ponytail and put on my special white game day socks and shoes before grabbing all my stuff and running downstairs to eat breakfast.

Walking into the kitchen, I find my almost all of my brothers, minus Alex. "Mornin' fellas. How did you sleep?" I grab an apple and jump up on the counter.

"Okay, I heard wes playing video games all night." Jake grumbles from the bar. "Why do our rooms have to be right next to each other? He's so loud."

"Because you're twins and dad said when you guys stopped sharing a room, you cried until they put your rooms right next to each other." I laugh and eat my apple while they roll their eyes. "So are you coming to the game tonight?"

"Of course. I gotta see my baby sisters face when she gets captain." Wes jumps on the counter next to me after turning the coffee pot on.

"I don't really want it though." They all look at me with confused faces, "I mean, between my classes, applying to college, studio, and the team, I barely have enough time to breathe let alone captain twenty plus girls. And now with modelling and, maybe, designing too. My plate is super full." I get up to throw my apple core away and Alex walks in, going straight for the coffee.

"But you love that team and don't you have a free period at the end of the day?" I nod, "okay, so you don't have to really worry about your school work, and you only go to studio once or twice a week tops during the school year so what's the problem?" he just has to put his two sense in.

"We've all been there. You know how we were all in other sports outside of school. You just have a little extra because you didn't quit. You're not a quitter, it's like you're incapable of giving up. You're just too stubborn or you really love what you're doing." Matt comes and gives me a hug. "You're fine. Plus, you're only 16 so nothing is set in stone for you right now." I nod and then before I know it, all four of them are hugging me tight.

"I love you guys." They all reply and then I'm being dragged out the door to go to school.

"So are you excited for homecoming?" I shrug, remembering what Carrie told me last night. "So that's a no? It's going to be fun, I promise. We can all go as a group, and we'll all have so much fun."

"It's just, after homecoming I might be trying to get girls to buy my dresses." He scrunches his eyebrows together, "I made a deal with mom last night, it's a long story. But I don't think that I can pull it off." I lean my head against the window and just stare at the passing gates and cars, for the rest of the ride to school. When we get there, we see a group of kids all standing around the door. "What's going on?" I look at Alex and he just shrugs, getting out. We walk up to the doors to see what all the fuss is about and see some senior football player asking his girlfriend to homecoming.
