"Jenny! Get off of the table!" I laugh and stumble as I try to escape my best friend once again. "Okay, that's it! No more drinking for you ever!"
"Let loose! Can we go swimming?. Please?" I beg my best friend, but she crosses her arms and rolls her eyes.
"I'll take her. You could use a break." We both turn to see John walking up with his hands in his pockets.
"Okay, but no funny business." She points at him and he nods, smiling. "No more drinking, Jen. Now, I'm going to go grind on my boyfriend and probably make out a little."
"Ew. Nobody wants to hear that." I gag, making them both laugh. Carrie walks away and I turn to John. "So pool?" he chuckles.
"How much have you had to drink?" He begins to walk outside.
"Umm, a couple shots and this fruity drink that one of the cheerleaders mixed for me." I shrugged, walking over to a table that has snacks on it.
"Okay, drink this. It'll sober you up some," he reaches out and gives me a bottle of water, which I drink about half of right away. "C'mon. Let's go for a walk." he nods his head in the direction of the old playset my dad built for us. I follow quietly behind him, thinking about what it would be like to kiss him again. Yeah, we kissed when we were like eleven years old. It was an accident and we haven't even talked about it since. We reach the swing set and he gestures for me to sit down, so I do. "You know, you're kind of funny drunk." He starts pushing me and chuckles a little.
"I'm not drunk, just tipsy."
"How tipsy?" He sits on the swing next to me.
"Tipsy enough to admit that you're hot," I look down, making my hair cover my blushing face. I can see him stop swinging and can feel his eyes boring into the side of my head.
"You think I'm hot?" he laughs. I look at him in disbelief.
"Why are you laughing at me? I wasn't trying to be funny, I was completely serious. And if you're going to be a jerk about it, then I guess I wasted six years of my life pining for some guy that obviously doesn't feel the same the way I do. And to think, you were my first kiss." I stand up and take a whopping three steps before I'm spun around and thrust into Johns chest. "What do yo-" I didn't get to finish before his soft lips crashed down onto mine.
My hands went into his hair and his went around my waist and pulled me closer to him. He pulled away and put his forehead against mine, "you have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that for." We heard footsteps and quickly separated, some drunk guy came towards us, followed by a girl. As they got closer, I realized that it was my brother, Wes and Jo.
"What are you guys doing out here?" Jo asked as she got closer, I saw her send a wink my way and the Wes grabbed her hand.
"Who cares, come on. Lets just go back to the house and find a new spot to make out," I gagged and she giggled before Wes dragged her back the way they came.
"Well I didn't see them together." John stepped closer to me, causing me to step back. I looked at his face, which had a hurt expression on it. "What's wrong? We were practically making out and now you don't want me to touch you?"
"I don't feel so good," right after saying that I felt myself falling back and hitting something before everything went black.

"She's fine, she's just not used to drinking and you realise that she drank way too much for her size. She just needs to sleep it off." I hear hushed voices coming from the hallway. I try getting up but fall back down onto my bed because my head hurt too much to move. Whoever is in the hallway must have heard me because before I know it, John and Matt are walking through my door with concern written all over their faces.
