It's September, you're excited for school. Not for your friends, not for the lessons, but for your new exchange program. You start to wonder what destination your guidance councillor picked for you. You told her you wanted it to be a surprise for when you showed up at school that very day. "This is it" you think to yourself.. "this could be the best or worst 6 months of your entire life".
As you walk into the guidance office, you're nervous. You can't help but think of how much you'll miss your mom, dad, little brother and especially your dog Coco. Six months is a long time you know. But you keep reassuring yourself that it is going to be the best adventure ever! You can't wait to meet many new people and enjoy a life in paradise.. hopefully!
Minutes pass, heck maybe even an hour! Finally your name is called. "Here is your exchange package for.." Here it comes.. Here it is... this will make or break your entire trip. "Costa Rica!" COSTA RICA?!! You mean to tell me I am going on exchange to a tropical island in Costa Rica! Your life couldn't get any better.
In fact, it did get better. As you open your package you come to find that you get your own private island, and your roommate is a boy named "James"
