Chapter 5: Bandnap

The moment I got home, I went straight to my bedroom and unpacked my things.

The next day...

I love the sound of the knife everytime it hits the wooden chopping board, I was slicing some carrots, then my phone rang, I washed my hands and picked it up.

"Hey Demi! We're going to starbucks later and also going to go ice skating! wanna join?" his voice was the one who invited me and not him, it was Connor.

"Yeah sure! What time?"

"Maybe around three?"

I looked at the clock, "Okay"

"Okay! We'll see you later! Bye!"

"Bye!"

I sighed and continued chopping the carrots. After chopping, cooking, and eating I checked the time and it was 1:46 in the afternoon. I went to the living room and rested there for a while, after I few minutes, I went to my bedroom and took a nap.

I woke up exactly 2:15, I took a shower and wore a black mickey mouse shirt, red skinny jeans, and black converse, I brushed my hair and went to starbucks.

I finally arrived, and there I saw Connor and Toby carried by muscular men, they were going in a van! I tried to chase the van and took a little boy's skateboard! I skated as fast as I can! I passed by some cops and told them to follow me, and they did "What is wrong ma'am?" They asked, "chase that van! Someone has been kidnapped!" I said, I skated faster and remembered that I got a scissor in my bag, so I grabbed it then skated fast as I can then finally reached the van! Then popped a wheel with my scissor! Everything got blurred.

"Goodmorning hero!" a blurred face appeared as I open my eyes, "what happened?" i asked, "You saved us" a smile from Toby's face was the first thing I saw, "Are the kidnappers gone?" "Yep! The police arrested them!" Connor said, "Good. Are we in the hospital?" I asked slowly getting up, "Yeah, you fainted!" Toby laughed, "Well anyways! Thank you so much for saving us!" Connor said, "We owe you a big one" Toby winked.

I got out of the hospital the same day, the moment I entered "Welcome home honey" a warm smile on my mom's face also made me smile, "Mom?", Connor and Toby got out of the living room, "Please let me explain" I said, "No no it's okay sweety" my mom said, "Well we have a surpise for you tomorrow" Connor said giving me a wink, "Thanks for having us ma'am" he said to my mom, my mom smiled, then they left. "Get some rest" my mom told me.

I went straight to bed and was having thoughts of what would the surprise be, will they finally marry me? I laughed as I thought of that, well, they never fail to make me happy anyways.
