There was something uplifting about the party for all of them, like it was a mood shifting, stress relieving move that they made, and although the four of them would never admit it, they were thankful for Harry for throwing this party, because it was calm and soothing, like it was all they needed after all.
While Liam found solace in his girlfriend most of the night, he could see their relationship going up so quick, like they had been dating since eternity. Like, when Liam wanted a drink and Danielle brought it for him before he even asked, upon that it was what he was craving for, a tequila shot.
"How did you know what I wanted?" he asked her completely amused by his girlfriend listening to his mind. She just smiled and pulled Liam's cheeks, "I think I know quite a bit too much about your cravings and likes and dislikes." she replied honestly. She soon added, "Remember that we agreed to be tipsy and not wasted?" with a stern look, her hands crossed around her chest.
"Yes, Ma'am." Liam replied downing his drink. He looked at his girlfriend with a look that contained not only love, but also great respect and admiration. He always wondered how beautiful his life had become after getting through X-Factor. He got everything that he dreamed of, a good career, real friends and a caring and loving girlfriend, and the potential to do something for his family; he had at all, and he was happy about it.
Liam always believed that Harry was right about Danielle being his savior, and the one whom he love no matter what the circumstances were, and it was mostly true. Danielle indeed save him from drowning in the sea of inferiority complex, and as Zayn had once mentioned, she was the one who could hold him right, and it was good that he was dating someone sensible and mature, but still a kid at heart.
He just smiled at her once again, pulling her close to him, onto his chest and planting a soft lingering kiss on her dark brown curls. "What would I do without you, Dani?" he asked wrapping his arm around her waist, and pulling her closer to him. "Nothing bad though, because you're a little pie." she said wrapping her arms around his neck and pecking his soft lips lightly.
meanwhile...
"I still can't believe I am dancing with the Louis Tomlinson." Eleanor shouted over the music, clearly excited, her shy wall going down as some alcohol run into her system, and she was tipsy and Louis had her back, taking good care of her, holding her protectively as they swung their bodies to the beat of Taylor Swift's 'You Belong With Me'. Louis was quite tipsy too, and it wasn't like he felt some kind of way towards Eleanor, he didn't even know her, and he didn't even think of having those kind of feelings towards her, but he still felt protective towards her because he was one among those people who supported him and inspired him.
All Louis knew was, he wanted Eleanor to be a friend of his and get to know her well. She seemed like a very good person to him. Besides, he could relate to her as a human.
He smiled at her, and dragged her out of the dance floor to take her to the balcony, which seemed like a less crowded space. Both of them stood in silence for a minute before Louis decided to break the silence, "I don't want to do something that you can't believe." He said holding her hands in his, the alcohol in his system working his magic; exactly contradictory to what he would do if was sober, and with a cheeky grin added, "I am Louis Tomlinson from Doncaster, a simple guy from a simple place and a simple life."
Eleanor's cheeks were already dusted with pink, but Louis didn't know if it was because of the alcohol or the hot weather or his words, but all he knew was this look was something he wanted to see often. Though it was his tipsy mind speaking, Louis couldn't deny that he would love to keep holding her hands.
