Star POV

THIS IS TERRIBLEEEEEE! I have no wand, no mom, no home, no nothing! Why did I give Eclipsa the wand? Why? I've been "Queen" since today and that was enough to ruin it all. I... I need my bestie. I need Marco. "What now? We don't have ANYTHING to do, ANYWHERE to go! Meteora destroyed the entire kingdom! Mewmans have no home... This is a disaster... I am a disaster" I said with tears in my eyes. "Don't be rough with yourself, you have no experience being queen. Besides, King River'll be in charge and rebuild everything. And I can go to earth and you, you can live with Tom until the castle's rebuilt, don't you think?" Marco told me. He always knows what to say. Then Tom walked near to us and started talking "Actually I do not think that's a good idea. I mean, you should go to Earth. You know that dimension, more or less. You've been in the Underworld like 2 or 3 times. Besides, Marco's good at cheering up people, we all know that". Marco and I smiled. "Well, thanks Tom". He was acting weird... What happened when they fought Meteora? Are they ok? "W-we must help mewmans, don't you think?" he ran away. "Tom, what happened when you were fighting Meteora?" Tom seemed super fatigated and kinda sad. "Star, both of us died there, literally". He said a bit upset. "No, I mean... What happened between you and Marco?". Tom seemed sadder than before. "N-nothing". He was lying, I know he was lying.

Marco POV

That was one of the most uncomfortable moments i've ever expererienced in my life, geez. I didn't know what to say, I just ran away. I went upstairs. Everything was destroyed. I saw Star's room, so I decided to pack her stuff. Well, if her stuff hasn't been destroyed by Meteora, of course. I grabbed 2 dresses, her spells book, one of her red demon headband, normal stuff. I finally found her secret diary.

"I shouldn't, should I? I don't know..." I asked to myself. I was about to open the diary, but I controlled myself "I can't do this. It's not right. I can't invade Star's privacity". What's happening to me. What am I doing? Gosh, I'm a terrible person sometimes.

When I was leaving Star's room, I tripped on a broken slab "Ouch... Damn slab. Wait... What's this?" I saw something under that slab. I realized that one was different to the rest... Like if someone was hiding something... I grabbed that thing, it was extremely dirty and damaged. I wiped the dust covering it and... "Oh, man... This can't be true. Why, Star? Why? I thought you would forget that" it was the booth's photos, except the fourth one was cut by someone... And I know that "someone".

I kept the photos in my hoodie and went downstairs, where Star was crying on her knees. "Star, what happened? Are you okay? Where's Tom?" I asked worried. She hugged me tight "He... He... Broke up with me"

"WHAT? WHY? HE LEFT JUST LIKE THAT?" I shouted "You told him... that's why you two were acting so weird" "Told what?" "You know... That" "What is 'that'? I don't undertsand" "Marco... you told him about what happened between us..." I was speechless. I didn't know what to say. After about a minute of silence, she talked again "He... He..." She started crying more and more. I finally said something "It's okay, it's okay. Your bestie's here to support you. Tell me what happened. Why would he broke up with a girl like you?" I froze, realizing what I just said "I MEAN, UGH, I- I-" she interrupted me laughing out loud "Oh, Marco hahahaha. You're a cutie when you want, huh? Hahahaha!" "Hehe... You seem better now. Ok, tell me what happened."I said stopping laughing "Oh, yeah, yeah..." She wiped her tears and we sat on the floor. She told me everything.

[40 minutes ago flashback begins]

Narrator's POV

Star and Tom were mute. Star was looking at the floor, thinking in everything at the same time. Tom was thinking in something too, about the kiss. He knew it wasn't opportune to talk about that in that moment, but if not then... When? "Star..." He said puting one of his hands on Star's shoulders" "Uhm, yeah?" "I know about you and Marco. What happened between you" "What are you talking about?" "About the kiss" Star got extremely nervous "TOM, I CAN EXPLAIN. THERE WAS A GOBLIN, 650 CASH AND A TERRIBLE, SUPER LONG AWKWARD MOMENT... WE, JUST... WE... HAD TO DO IT TO-" "Star, Stop for a sec! Calm down." He interrupted her. "Now, Star, easy. How did that happened? "Ok, ok. We were tooking photos when suddenly the booth's photos stucked the machine, so it closed it's door 'automaticaly'. Then a goblin came out from inside the booth, I don't remember his name. Fortiro? Benedict? Benjamin Fostino? No... It was... Uuuuuhmmmm... Oh! Ben Fotino. Well, he told us that the booth was magic and it wouldn't let until us leave until we take the photo it wanted. The problem? We only had one more attemp. And then, well. It happened... "Star, look, I can't-" "WAIT, WAIT! First of all, Marco kissed me, I did nothing; and second, he did it because of the sutiation. See? No cheating!" She interrupted him, yelling like crazy. "Star" "WHAT?" "Maybe he kissed you, but you didn't reject the kiss, didn't you?" "Well... No" Tom did not seem angry at all "Star, the gold question is: you like it?" Star's cheeks turned red. She didn't know what to say... or did she? "I don't know... It was so fast". "Star, it's easy. Yes or no?". "I... I... YES! YES! I LIKED IT!" she started crying out loud. "I knew it. Look, Star. I'm not gonna go mad and destroy everything... Well... There's no much more to destroy, hehe" no one laughed. "But, Star. Both of us know I'm not the right one for you. And you know what? I think... I'm happy doing this" "Do what?" "Star, this relationship can't go on" "But, Tom! Please! This is not what I want" "You sure? Think it twice. Besides, this is what I want. Do it for your ex-ex-boyfriend, please" both chuckled "Ok, I undertsand, but why you just said you're happy with this?" "Well... I think I was jealous of Marco every time I saw him spending time with you. Also he knows you a lot more than me, he's more caring, has an excellent personality, in conclusion, I'm no match for Marco. Is not fair for me. Besides, I think I ruined your lives enough. I don't want to ruin your relationship too." Star's was crying and smiling, staring at Tom. She hugged him tight. "You've changed, Tom, really. That means a lot for me." "Thanks, it took me a couple of years, but i've finally changed, hehe... Well... I think I should leave Marco and you alone, you know?" "Ok, ok. See you later, Tom" "See you soon, Star" he left the castle and opened a big entrance to the Underworld. Star was kinda happy, but she felt bad for Tom at the same time, a lot... She couldn't hold her tears. 2 minutes later, Marco came downstairs.

[End of 40 minutes ago flashback]

"Wow" Marco said "He changed, really changed". "Yeah, I think so" Star said "Hey, you ok? Breaking up can be hard. You'll need time to think". "No, no. I'm fine." "You sure?" "Positive". They went to the balcony (Or what was left of it) to see the stars. They didn't say anything for a couple of minutes, then Star layed her head on Marco's shoulder. "Uhm, Star?" "D-do you like l-looking at stars?" He said nerviously "Yes... They are like me, literally." Both laughed. "Haha, you know which one I like most?" Marco said "Which one?" "The one next to me, heh" "hahahaha, good one, Misundestood Bad Boy" "Haha... And you, Star, which one you like most?" "I love Mewnian Moon" "But, that's not a Star" "I know, but it's perfect. I love its perfect circular form, it's perfect color and it's perfect, white, shining...
