A blue glow had emitted from a boy's face, illuminating all the marks that was engraved on his face. "Are you ready Kierra?" he asked a girl whose hair was red as the fiery embers, just like the boy, her face was illuminated by a red glow with marks on her forehead.
Kierra, as the boy stated, began to tear up and leapt into the boy's arms. "This burden that we have, we can't just pass them on to our descendants" she told him, desperation was painted all over her face.
"We can't do anything about it anymore Kierra, we've been doing this for a century and I am getting tired of this. I wanted a life with you, a life where we can be together peacefully, not a life that would have me trying to kill you" silence followed after that, Kierra had already parted herself from the boy as she hugged herself with her arms.
With a sigh, she turned to look away from him and unto the crescent moon. "We have to finish this once and for all Ignio, they don't deserve to experience this kind of tragedy that we have to face!" Kierra's body began to glow the color of her marks and soon enough, her body was already on fire.
The boy Ignio took this as a sign and set his body to flow like a water. "This is how we should end this Kierra, I'm ready to be with you for all eternity" he said as he took a step towards her and began to caress her face.
As soon as their skin made contact, it began to dissolve into thin air. "Don't you still want to live your life?" Kierra's tears began to stroke her cheeks, leaving a scar as it trailed down her face.
Ignio set his forehead on Kierra with a smile on his face. "I've already lived enough, now all I need is you" and with that, their last moment together was sealed with a kiss. A kiss they knew would seal their fate together, a kiss that would finally make them one.
