The students were now being gathered to the Anako Room for them to be transported to the Sapyrian: The School of Elves. Some students brought a luggage with clothes with a week's worth. As soon as both the Merlinians and Morganians were there, the Headmaster began to address them.
"I see you've all packed, some may even have over packed as we are only going to stay there for two days. Now, before we leave, I want all of you to be on your best behaviour and please, don't try to cause any trouble" after that, the Headmaster took out a key from his robes and inserted it into a golden door.
What was behind it bewildered all the students, it was a void, a void filled with magnificent colors that could lead you to wherever your heart's desire. Anira's eyes squinted as she stared at it warily, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "What is this?" she asked, making the Headmaster raise his eyebrows at her.
"This, Miss Blanchardia, is the gateway to the place where your mind takes you, wherever it may be, just think and you will be there" his eyes shining with stars as he told her with a wistful voice. "Anywhere?" Anira repeated with interest in her tone.
"Yes Miss Blanchardia, but right now I have placed a barrier that would prevent you to choose your own place to go without our permission. Now, why won't you give that grim face of yours a wonderful smile for once?" the girl let out a sigh, shaking her head while doing so and giving the Headmaster a forced smile.
The Headmaster faced the students once more with a bright smile on his face. "Alright then, the professors and I had already programmed this gateway to lead all of you to Sapyrian, stay where you are and wait for me, understood?" he leaned in towards the students and waited for them to nod their heads or answer in agreement.
As soon as he was satisfied, he led the students toward the gateway and bid them good luck. "Why are you telling us that? You're coming with us!" Ailes said hysterical at the Headmaster, making him laugh at the girl.
At first, the students eyed the gateway warily, thinking of what might happen if they place their feet inside of it. No one seems to be going in first, Anira grew tired as she pushed the others out of her way and headed straight towards the gateway.
What embraced her was what not she had expected, her eyes lit up at what she saw. There, before her were thousands of lights, like the Northern Lights which for Anira, was the most wondrous thing she had ever seen in her life. Her face contorted into a smile as she let out a bright laughter, floating into the bright unending void.
Anira kept on letting out a pure laughter, reaching out her hands for light orbs to settle on it. "Peculiar, this is strange yet so fascinating" her heart warmed as the light orbs began to circulate around her, clinging into her body, making her laugh even more.
"I need to go now, the others would arrive here and I have to leave before they see me laughing here like a lunatic" as she said that, she noticed that the light orbs began to dim, as if they were mourning for her departure.
She seemed to sense their change of mood, leaning in towards a light orb that was in her palm, giving it a light kiss. As soon as she did that, the light that was emitting from the orb began to amplify, until the void was covered with bright pure luminous light, making Anira cover her eyes from it along with her mind going blank.
"Anira" a name. "Anira!" her eyes fluttered open, rising from the ground as she gasped for air. The girl looked around to see students flocking around her as if she was a piece of meat. "What are you looking at?" she snarled at them, making the students back away from her, except for Ailes which had a bright smile on her face.
"What am I doing on the ground?" Anira asked her while struggling to pull herself up. "Well, when we crossed the gateway, you were already sprawled on the ground. Finally feeling better?" Anira could only look at her friend with such disbelief in her eyes.
