There's a cave in Belize were you can see the remains from ancient Maya human sacrifices - but you have to swim in, wade up in the cave water, and crawl through the dark, cramped, uneven rock to reach the back of the cave system. There, you can walk among the corpses of many sacrifice victims, including The Crystal Maiden; An 18 year old whose skeleton is so calcified that it sparkles.
