Chapter 28 - Just The Boys & Khari

Cameron

I hadn't been around any of my friends in awhile and it's because I need to breath. Londynn's has been a huge bother. Nagging and being an attention whore. I don't think she get's that she's my girlfriend and I love her but, i'm also human and I need space to breathe too! I'll admit I haven't fully forgiven her for the abortion she had and I haven't been told the real story behind it but i'm sure it's a real RICH story, shit it better be. Anyway I been catching up with Josh. He's a cool dude and he's been through a lot lately, his ex gf committed suicide and he's been trying to deal with it alone though and that's the wrong way. He's told me a lot about her and she seemed like a nice girl. I couldn't pinpoint who she reminded me of. Maybe Chris's cousin or that new girl Sylvie. I don't think he's met them yet. Damn come to think about it, I don't think this dudes been out of his room in weeks. He is in serious need of friends. He's gotta come out sometime.

Josh

I separated myself from all the kids in this town after Emily's death and it was starting to feel like a good idea until Cameron came to ringing my doorbell on Saturday. This guy's mad consistent too. He said he'd keep bothering me until I came out and played basketball with him and the guy's. He said his rude ass brother wouldn't be coming out anytime soon and they needed an extra guy. Apparently after leaving a party they had last week he got shot in his ass. That was the first thing Cam said to make me laugh in a long time! That shit is hilarious plus the fact that Michael is a bitter ass nigga, guess he deserved it. I figured I'd go. I needed to get out this house. I was beginning to get bored with the scenery.

Chris

Cam finally called a nigga after days of searching for him. He said he's sorry for the distance and that he needed a few days to himself to think. I understood because believe it or not Janaee' was starting to do the same shit Londynn's been doing to him. Our girls, damn were they a trip? Anyway he told me to come down to the beach and play basketball at the rec with him, Josh, and Maurice. I was auto down cause it's been awhile since we played two on two. I called Janaee' and told her i'd be over late because I was going out with my boys today. She was hesitant but agreed to see me around 7. Before I left I asked Khari if she wanted to ride out with me. She'd been keeping a keen distance from the hype. I mean my cousin was never type to hang around girls. Always one of the boys, so I know being around my girlfriend and her sisters was too much drama for her to handle. Today was the perfect chance for her to get away from this neighborhood. She loved the idea and threw on some sweats and a tank in the hopes that she'd be playing with us. I told her to bring a book and a bikini cause I highly doubt she'd be allowed on that court once all four of us began playing!

Khari

Chris invited me to the beach with the boys today. Yes finally i'm getting out of this boring ass neighborhood! I'm glad I finally got invited somewhere I possibly could feel welcomed. . those girls they're always with really dislike me. That's one thing I really miss about home, my real friends. I moved in with Mama J and Chris to get away from drama within my house and I encountered more out of leaving. The only difference is the drama I seem to be surrounded by doesn't bother me as much as my family's drama did. Chris asked Mama J if he could borrow her drop-top for the beach today and when she said yes we both kool-aid smiled and ran to the car! Today was gonna be a good day I could feel it. The first one i'd had all year. When we got to the beach we parked Mama J's car and let the top down making sure to take special precautions with her baby. I hoped out and grabbed my bag I wanted to play earlier but right now I wanted to tan. I took my sweats off which had my bikini top and high waste boy short bottoms under, layed my towel out on the sand and began to relax. After about 15 minutes I turned over and the sun disappeared.

"CHRIS! I am trying to tan here!" and that's when a very unfamiliar voice began to speak.

"Josh actually, and I was just wondering if you wanted to play with us! Maurice twisted his ankle showing out and we kind of need a fourth dude."

"O, my bad Josh. And no I wouldn't mind, i'll be over in a sec."

Damn was he cute. He probably thought I was a preppy and rude bitch now. He could have been my first friend in this town. Blew that shit! Anyway, time to put my game face on Christopher and I had two on two to win!

Janaee'

Last night was the worse fucking night ever ! , Chris and I really got into a heated argument about his Cousin Khari . Then He Had the nerve to say It's just the pregnancy talking so he's not gonna take anything I say seriously . I was sitting in my chair like "Bitch who the fuck are you talking to" But I didn't say anything because I hated arguing with him. Especially when Chris knows my weaknesses and my buttons , not only that I can't be arguing and shit , I'll fuck around and harm my unborn babygirl. Whom we still haven't come up with a name for her. I was thinking about Christina Mariee Brown . That sounds so perfect for her , because I know she'll look just like her daddy. Chris called me and told me hes gonna be out with his boys today til 7 , I hope he gets here on time because I wanna make up with him and then bring up the name I thought of. Just as I was watching my favorite movie of all time "SpaceJam" Londynn comes wobbling her pregnant ass in my room , and sat down on my bed . Knowing something was wrong I paused my movie and looked at her "Londynn what's wrong?" I asked She didnt say anything she just pulled out her phone and handed it to me. There it was , A Picture of Cameron and Khari Leaning in for a kiss at the basketball court. The number the picture came from was unknown. Not wanting to believe the picture but the evidence was right there , I pulled Londynn Into my arms as she began to cry and scream she's leaving him for good and taking the baby with her. In my head All I could say was "DAMN" .
