He shouldn't have taken it. This house with its beautiful scenery and vast landscapes. Not even with its cheap price. He should have taken a different house, anywhere but here. Anywhere but next to him. Zayn. Liam hadn't seen the man himself yet, never really bothered to introduce himself since he had been in a bad mood for a couple of months. The news of his upcoming best seller was bad, they had said it would make him millions if he finished up the book quickly, it didn't matter the standard of the end of the book because apparently the rest of the book was just bewildering and captivating. So he'd rushed it. That's what they had said. When the reviews had come out, Liam was mortified, should've known better than to trust his agent. His mum had welcomed him with open arms and a sympathetic smile as she kicked away the newspaper filled with horrible comments about the book. So Liam with every note he owned brought this house, no-one would have found such a nice house at such a reasonably cheap price. The stupid estate agent had forgotten to mention one small thing, his neighbour was a loud, boisterous and arguably rude man who loved to party the night away. Liam had met noisy neighbours before, when he was finishing up university his dorm was next door to a weed sniffing, screaming boy who had parties every day. Every single day that Liam was attempting to study, sleep and eat, it was always noisy. He had complained plenty of times, typed up a spite filled letterel punching at the keys furiously as he yelled what he was writing out loud, no-one listened. Instead he had received a letter warning him about yelling. He wasn't one for quitting so he had taken video footage of all the things going on in the dorm with his phone and a little help from his room mate Jeffrey. The university made that annoying boy next door move out  and replaced him with two Asian boys who sometimes came and helped Liam with some editing solutions and everything was perfect again.

Now however, every time Liam went around the streets to ask people to petition against the noisy neighbour, no-one wanted to be part of it. They slammed the door in his face and one particular old lady had shivered in fear when he had pointed over at the house, shaking her head furiously as her husband thaw the door shut in Liam's face.  Of course Liam had tried to confront the man himselfe plenty of times but he either was shooed out of the house by a drunk girl or he was thrown out by beefy guys, he'd never seen Zayn but he had heard whispers on the streets about him being a big thug, at least six foot eight of pure muscle. He seemed intimidating but Liam would take him on, maybe a few bruises and he could take his case to the local council.

I wanna stay up all night till we see the sun, the thundering blare of the music caused the lamp beside Liam's bed to shudder. You're already up all night, let me sleep Liam shuddered as he hid his head beneath his pillow, trying to block out the ridiculously loud music. Another tune blared up and this time Usher echoed around the room, the lyrics punching at the walls.  Liam couldn't help the groan that burst our of his mouth when someone threw something and it bounced against the wall.

He should get up and demand for them to turn the music down, he was legally inclined to do so. In his neighborhood all music was to be turned down by eleven pm but this was past the limit as the green numbers in Liam's room indicated it was way past that. He didn't mind people having parties, he had been young once, still was at age 24 but he didn't need loud music to have fun. Why couldn't people be happy listening to Jay-Z at a low tune while munching softly on popcorn and having a quiet chat. Obviously not everyone enjoyed what Liam thought was fun. Only his grandma had thought him to be the most exciting person ever and that said something about his character. People had called him boring countless tines but what's so boring about being modest and quiet? Absolutely nothing.

As if on command, Guess who's back pounded into the room as Liam shot up from his bed. That had been his dance tune since he was sixteen and still is, he'd always been a fan of Jay-z but never expected anyone else to like that particular tune. No one had liked it when he had proudly fallen in love with it, they'd made fun of him because he was trying too hard apparently- stop trying Liam, it's pathetic.

As Liam turned around in his sensationally warm bed, with its soft sheets ans comfortable matress, he cursed his estate agent for putting him here and he wasn't going to put any blame on himself because she should have told him, at least a warning. He kept whispering to calm himself down because the pounding music had changed into some up tempo beat and the house was jumping with every beat. That's when Liam's phone fell onto the ground, that was the last starw. Jumping out of bed and landing on his face was planned, he was sure but when he banged against the wall, someone yelled at him to shut up and a few other profanities that Liam had never heard of even though he had done an English degree. That's when he willed all the courage in himself and marched over to his wardrobe, pulled out a t-shirt and grabbed his glasses as he made his way out, this was no time for remembering that Zayn could be a giant that would squish him in one fist. After placing his keys into his t-shirt pocket he marched over to the lawn and crossed to his neighbour whilst humming subconsciously to the music, he couldn't deny that the guy, Zayn had a good taste in music, okay that's the only compliment he would give that annoying

little- deep breaths.  Several girls were lounging around across the lawn with empty bottles encasing them, Liam wrinkled his nose at the smell as he approached the front door. He knocked at first, thinking it was a civilised thing to do but after no-one replied to him he threw caution to the window and punched the doorbell several times until the door was pulled open. A monster stood looming above Liam with a height of at least seven feet ad he grinned maliciously at Liam. The man was a beast, all muscle and puny black eyes that looked like they could seize a soul out. Huge fists were curling against his side making the snake tattooed on his atm slither, almost lilifelike.

"What'd ya want?" he growled while looking Liam up and down and spitting on tbe ground near Liam's shoes, well if he had remembered to wear shoes. A shudder of disgust wormed its way over his spine as he craned his neck to look at this foul beast. So he would definitely end up in a hospital if he tried to take him on.  Thinking of it now, staying in his bed with the pounding music was a slice of peace in comparison to this as some sweaty girl hung limply against the monster's side.

"I'm trying to sleep and your music is too loud, turn it off" he tried to muster all the courage into his voice while eyeing his house next door, if he ran he could make it without too much pain. No this needed to be taken care of.

"Nah, don't feel like turning it down, birthday celebrations, so turn around and walk on nerd" the beefy man, Zayn ,Liam assumed snarled and turned to close the door with his fists clenching and unclenching in an intimidating manner as the bones in his hand clicked.

"Look Zayn I am trying to sleep and you're stupid music won't let me sleep. I don't care if it's your birthday or mine. I need to sleep do turn it down" he managed to grit his teeth so that the high pitched tone of his voice wouldn't be so damn obvious. The man, Zayn chuckled as he bared his teeth and Liam didn't take a step back, he didn't cower away and most definitely didn't want to cry.

"Oi, Zayn there's a party pooper here. Talk to him" the giant turned away leaving Liam a stuttering and confused mess because we had already established that the monster was Zayn.

"Why are you ruining my party nerd boy?" the voice was like liquid gold as Liam looked up from his twiddling fingers to find Zayn.

He couldn't be real, where was the giant, he should come back because this man wasn't real, he couldn't be. Not with the luscious soot black eyes lashes that created shadows over golden soft skin, the shapes that Liam wanted to trace with his-. He shook his head as he looked at the man in front of him, not a giant but something of a brilliant creature. The golden glitter eyes that turned green in the dark as he got closer to Liam were what struck him the hardest. He wasn't a monster, he was beautiful.

"You're a monster" the words shouldn't have been allowed to be on his tongue let alone to be said out loud. The comment displeased the boy in front of him as he shoved the door shut into Liam's face and just like that the spell was broken.
