I cried for ages after they left, once I stopped crying I got up and made some dinner and had a shower. I got out of the shower after fifteen minutes, dried my hair and put it in a bun. I wrapped a towel around my body and walked into my bedroom, I got dressed in my (f/c) shirt and shorts then I looked around the room. I felt so lonely. I sat on my bed and noticed a box on the table next to it, I reached and grabbed the box. I opened it and inside was a silver ring, I looked at the pretty silver ring and noticed it had two names engraved on it. Mine and Levi's name were on it with a heart in the middle, I put the ring on and it fit perfectly. I laid down and cried myself to sleep.
*time skip six years* you are 21
I jumped out of bed and got ready for training, yes I joined the 104th cadet core. Levi, Isabel and Farlan left six years ago, four years after they left I figured they weren't coming back so I used the money I saved up to get to the surface and obtain a citizenship. I have been living in Trost for the last two years.
I grabbed the clothes I packed and my hair brush and toothbrush then I headed off to where the 104th cadet core will be living for the next few years.
*time skip one hour*
It was six in the morning and we were all lined up while commander Keith shardes walked around yelling at everyone. After the commander finished yelling at everyone we started training using the 3DM gear. There was some people who were really good at it, me included. I was one of the best became I regularly used the gear in the underground city.
While we were doing the 3DM training I noticed a boy with jade green eyes and brown hair having trouble with the gear. I walked over to him "hey my name is (f/n), you look like you could use some help" I said to the boy who was upside down.
"Yeah I could use some help, my name is Eren by the way" he said as I unclipped the gear and Eren got up. I noticed someone staring at us while I was giving Eren some tips. The girl had short black hair and was wearing a red scarf around her neck.
I looked at Eren as he ended upside down again, the girl walked over to us. "Eren its time to go to the mess hall for dinner" she said as she unclipped his gear. Then she turned to me "hi I'm Mikasa, Eren's adopted sister" she said to me.
I looked at Mikasa "hey I'm (f/n)" I said. Eren got up and came over to us "ouch I really hit my head hard" he said rubbing his head.
"Oh are you alright" Mikasa said before she wrapped a bandage around his head. "Yeah I'm fine" Eren said
"Anyway guys we should get to the mess hall, we don't want to be late" I said as they followed me to the mess hall.
Once we were inside we got a tray with some soup and bread, we walked over to a table where a blonde hair boy was sitting. "Hey guys" the boy said before his gaze landed on me. " Got a girlfriend on the first day Eren" the blonde said teasingly. Eren blushed.
"Its not like that Armin" Eren said pouting.
"Ah okay then, hi I'm Armin it's nice to meet you (f/n)" he said in a sweet voice.
"Hey Armin, nice to meet you too" I said taking a seat next to Mikasa. "Mikasa I saw you with the 3DM gear today, you seem like a pro" I said to her with admiration in my eyes.
"Yeah it's easy to get used to, but you (f/n) seem like you've been using it for years. You didn't even have trouble getting the belts on" Mikasa said.
"Well its easy to use the gear" I replied looking down at my soup remembering my past with Isabel, Farlan and Levi.
"Hey (f/n) you alright" Eren asked looking concerned.
"I'm fine, just tired. I think I might go to bed" I said standing up. "Goodnight guys, I'll see you at breakfast tomorrow" I said while walking away. 'Goodnight' I heard them say as I started walking.
I was at the door and I looked over at the table and saw Eren staring at me, out eyes locked before I walked out of the mess hall.
As I walked down the steps onto the grass I bumped into a tall man with a brown undercut. He helped me up "sorry about that, my name is Jean" he said.
"Yeah its okay, I'm (f/n)" I replied.
Jean headed inside the mess hall as I headed off to the cabin I share with Sasha. As I got to cabin I changed into my pyjamas and laid on my bed, I thought about Eren and how his jade eyes reminded me of Isabel. Then I thought about Levi, I wondered where he was and what he was doing. I looked at the ring he got me and cried before drifting off into a heavy sleep.
*Dream*
I was running through fog, it was so thick that I couldn't see more than a metre in front of me. I saw big footprints in the mud and when I finally got out of the fog I saw a head with blood splattered over the face. It looked like Isabel but I'm not certain, I took a few steps back and bumped into a titan. It picked me up, I screamed as the titan brought me to its mouth. I closed my eyes preparing for the end.
*End of dream*
I woke up with beads of sweat going down my face and I was panting hard. I looked to where Sasha was sleeping peacefully, h quietly got up and got some water. I drank the water while I thought about the dream I had, it wasn't real just a nightmare. I walked back to bed after I finished drinking my water and fell asleep straight away.
