(f/n) POV
*time skip 2 years cuz lazy* you are now 22 turning 23
I woke up early and had a shower, got dressed in my uniform and headed out. We were doing more hand to hand combat training today but I just wanted to go for a walk. I left Sasha a note telling her that I will see her at breakfast.
I walked along the path to the lake, I had just about an hour before I had to head to the mess hall. I sat on the sand near the lake and took my shoes off and put my feet in the water. I laid back on the grass and closed my eyes.
I sat straight up and looked behind me, I was only laying down for five minutes or so when I heard a stick crunch behind me. I quickly put my shoes on and got up, "who's there" I called out. I walked to where I heard the sound and saw a foot sticking out of the bush. I decided to tackle the unknown person so I dived towards the bush.
"ouch (f/n) get off me". I looked at the man and saw Eren.
"Eren what are you doing here" I asked getting off of him and helping him up.
"well I saw someone walking here so I decided to follow them and see who it was" he said dusting off the dirt from his clothes.
"okay well why were you up this early Eren"? I questioned
"couldn't sleep" he said sitting by the lake
I sat next to him an silence "hey (f/n)" he said nervously
"yeah what is it" I replied
"I uh well I have liked you ever since I have met you" he said blushing trying to hide his face.
"oh okay" I said not really knowing what to say
"yeah I think you're beautiful, smart, strong and just amazing" Eren said moving closer to me.
His lips were almost touching mine, "thanks Eren you're really sweet" I said with a hint of blush on my face. I backed away a little bit, I mean Eren is cute and all but I don't know if I am ready for a relationship. I still love Levi.
Eren moved closer and our lips touched, I didn't kiss back. Eren pulled away "I have always wanted to kiss you" he said
"uhh" I said nervously
"whats wrong (f/n)" he asked a look of worry in his face.
"its just im not ready for something like this, im sorry Eren" I said looking down.
"hey its okay (f/n)" he said taking my hand and pulling me in for a hug.
I hugged Eren tight "I'll wait for you" he whispered into my ear.
We heard the bell ring meaning we had to head to the mess hall for breakfast. Eren and I walked together to the mess hall, once we got there we got our trays with soup and bread and sat at our usual table. It wasn't long before Armin, Sasha, Connie and Mikasa joined us. We had small talk while we ate before the commander came in.
"time for training cadets" hes voice rung throughout the mess hall. We quickly got u and headed to the training grounds for hand to hand combat.
*time skip five hours*
After combat training me, Eren, Armin and Mikasa went into Trost there was a big commotion going on in the streets. We ran over and pushed our way through the crowd. A mans voice yelled " Commander Erwin has returned" we saw a blonde man with thick eyebrows riding on large white horse. I heard someone say Captain Levi and my eyes immediately widened 'no it couldn't be him' I thought to myself. I looked behind commander Erwin and saw a woman with brown hair and glasses riding on a horse next to... Levi...
My eyes wandered over the man I love, I took in his features, his raven hair and beautiful steel grey eyes. I kept my gaze on him, 'hmm so this is where he has been' I whispered to myself. Levi kept his brows furrowed and his expression stoic, he didn't look around. The scouts went past us and I decided to follow before I was stopped by an arm. "don't follow them" Eren said.
