Jane's POV
"Ugh! I can't do this!" Lily groaned.
"Do what?" I asked while reading a book.
"This college life! It's hard!" She pouted.
"I'm sure you can do it." I smiled at her, putting my book down.
"Sigh...thanks, Jane. I have to go to my dorm now. See you tomorrow!"
She got up and left. And just in time, my roommate arrived.
"Is Lily ok?" Kat asked in English.
"She's fine. Just stressed." I giggled.
"That happens to everyone." She smiled.
"I have to go sleep. Night!" Kat said.
"Night!"
She wrapped a blanket around her and fell asleep.
I placed my book inside my bag. And I saw a square case with a CD inside.
It's Jungkook's CD that he gave me before I left Seoul.
It's been days since I haven't listened to it.
I held the case in my hand and placed my laptop on my bed. I got my headphones out of my bag and plug it to the laptop.
I played the video and music started playing.
It's my favorite song.
And Jungkook did a cover of it.
His voice is very soothing to the ears. And I was starting to get emotional.
Honestly, I miss him.
I thought it was over, so I almost pressed space bar.
"Wait!"
I stopped and looked at the screen and saw his face.
And there I saw his bunny smile.
"Hello, Jane."
"Hi, Jungkook." I said, even though it's just a video.
"How are you? Did you do well with your studies? Did you make any new friends in Canada?
"Too many questions. But if you're fine there, that's good."
He looked at his phone, and it looks like he prepared a script.
"And you're right, I'm reading a script I made because I always forget."
Jungkook laughed.
And I laughed too.
"Anyway, I have a message for you. So get your tissues because I'm sure that you'll cry." Jungkook pointed to the camera.
"Game on." I leaned close to the camera.
"Jane..."
My heart's already beating fast when he said my name.
"When we first met, I was rude to you. And you were just a kind girl. I could tell."
I smiled.
"And even though it didn't seem like it, I'm glad we met."
Jungkook cleared his throat.
"Besides the boys, you were always there for me. Like that time I told you about my sister."
"And on my birthday, you gave me a chance to talk to my father. But I didn't. I was being a complete jerk to you. And I didn't even know your past."
Jungkook pursed his lips and looked at the camera.
"You're an amazing and strong person, Jane. Don't forget that."
He said, looking at the camera.
"Thank you, Jane. For everything." He smiled.
He waved to the camera and the video ended.
"Thank you, Jungkook." I said.
And not realizing it, I was crying.
Seems like Jungkook won.
I closed my laptop, placed it inside my bag, and went to sleep.
