yoongi was happily eating his breakfast, a whole other batch of fresh, hot pancakes he made sitting on his counter for when he'll get hungry again in a few hours. it was 8 am, terribly early for yoongi, but he had to wake up early for his first live broadcast since his face reveal was today.

he was quietly chewing on a piece of pancake drenched in sticky syrup while watching an old re-run of 'the amazing world of gumball', chuckling every once in a while at the slightly adult-like humor, and overall just having a pleasant morning; when he got a phone call.

his slight smile didn't leave his face when he looked at the ID. it was his personal assistant, and he wanted to answer with a cheery tone.

"good morning!" yoongi chirped.

"ah, good morning, yoongi-ssi. i didn't expect you to be awake at this time." his assistant replied, and yoongi chuckled.

"just having a good week, jihoon."  he stated while forking another piece of pancake, shoving it in his mouth when he heard jihoon chuckle.

"i bet, hyung. is it because of your handsome MUA boyfriend?"

yoongi practically choked on his pancake. "wh-what?"

"oh my—hyung, don't tell me you guys aren't dating yet! you and seokjin would be perfect! even allkpop ships you guys.."

"they—" he paused. no way, do they really? do the fans even agree with all this? "they do?"

"yes, hyung! some fans even ship you both!"  jihoon giggled when he heard a small gasp come from yoongi. "awe, you're whipped, how cute!"

"says you! mr. 'oooouuu junhui's sooo beautiful, isn't he hyung?'" he said in a high pitched voice, trying to mock the younger in the way he oozes over the company's intern.

the two started chuckling together through the phone. "okay, okay, touché." jihoon laughed, rustling around through the speaker of yoongi's phone. "i'm about to leave, our manager messaged me to call you and see if you're up, but since you are, you should start getting ready."

yoongi scoffed playfully, getting up off his seat on the couch and heading towards the kitchen. "yes mom."

jihoon sighed. "just making sure you look fly as fuck; you should be thanking me."

yoongi thanked him with a smile and ended the call, hopping to his closet while blasting music through his speakers.
