sound of silence: chapter 1

The sun peeked over the summer herzion lighting up the trees and grass below.. In a farm house in the wild west a litter of puppys was born.. All but one was sold to near by people who saw the add in the paper.. The last puppy left was the one they kept they called her Kersha. She was kept as the family pet a cute little female Australian Shepard pup she grew to love her humans she had a different look to her then the others she has two different colored eyes one blue and one green.. She was a happy pup always happy to help the best she could but she always seemed to get in the way all the time. Kersha!?! Stop it said Nickolas the dog's owner. Get out of the way you just can't help but do everything we do.. He said as she pulled on the wole blankets Nick was trying to lift. You are not a human your a dog! He laughed she still tried.. But still couldn't manage to do what she wanted. Kersha loved to wonder the woods she was still only a pup.. She would wonder the forest and return home everyday. The bed she slept in was nick's.. She did the same thing everyday.. Get in the way.. Wonder the forest and come home at dusk and sleep in nick's bed. Nick was a child living with his mom and dad. Rosah and rogar wash. It was a happy family.. Happy until one morning things where not doing well. The farm was lacking there was not much to do.. So kersha did her normal routine she wondered. But she had wondered just a little too far.. She found herself lost in a strange part. She didn't return on time. Her owners set out to find her but they where no where near her when she stubbled on a strange ground. She turned to be confronted by a large snarling dog. She looked into the dog's red and evil eyes.. She was stunned and held still with fear! And before she could escape the dog attacked her grabbing her with his sharp teeth that crushed into her skin her crys for help rang loud enough for nick to her and he rushed! Kersha!! He yelled following the sound. The rabbid dog went to take the final bite to her neck but was racked in the jaw with a lard tree branch that nick grabbed to help her nick hit the dog till he ran off and scooped up his blood soaked puppy and raced her home! He bursted threw the doors to his parents who rushed them to the vet! The poor puppy's life was in danger.. But thankfully the vet was able to save her life.. The vet was a family friend so she didn't charge the family as much by pulling some strings.. Kersha went threw a 300 dollar Surgery and was sent home to recover.. Her injurys healed but her metal state did not.. She seemed different not wanting to come out side or go near the forest.. She grew up to adulthood into a skidish dog. She would growl at visitors and even her own owner at times. She acted very strangely.. Nickolas went threw high school and became a business man. He got the house when his parents where sent to a nursing home. It was just him and his dog. Tho the dog was not happy. He tried to get her to open up to the outside again but she would not and began showing aggressive behavior towords things like birds or Squrrols.. She hated being outside and Nick worried his sweet puppy was turning to a mean monster. She would bark at the wind blowing outside and acted afraid of nick. Come here he said offering a treat but she just layed down in the corner and whined Nickolas was now worried he was losing her.. She became slim and too skinny she would eat her food the behavior got worse. Often she would growl at nothing and sit in one spot getting her to the vet for her weekly check up was a battle.. And one day she snapped and bit his hand out of fear Owch! He yelled as he let go and she ran away to the corner omg.. I just bit nick! She thought she had terrorible nightmares of that attack in the woods.. Over and over.. Until it just couldn't be hidden anymore..
