Sadie finally came clean to Millie.
Millie sat in disbelief.
Her own friend. Someone she'd known since she was ten.
"I'm sorry. But love is love."
Millie was angry. "How dare you? I got Dibs on him first! And you, you were supposed to be the supportive best friend. I can't believe I trusted you!"
Sadie felt enraged. "Dibs? You could you treat him like a object? Have you ever thought? Maybe, just maybe I could like Finn just for the same reason you do? Maybe if you were a real friend you would understand." Sadie said yelling.
"I could say the same." Millie same standing up from her bed.
Sadie scowled. She put her hands up in frustration and walked out. Slamming the door in the process.
Millie had read tons of fanfics. This was not how it goes.

Millie sat down. Tears pouring.
This was a game for two. That Millie would win.

Noah sat down biting his apple. He glanced between the two girls who wouldn't look at each other.
Gaten cocked an eyebrow.
Even Finn noticed and he was two tables away. He didn't really like Sadie. He understood what she was trying to do, but he couldn't see her more then a barely friends.
Millie knew that Sadie had been with guys in the past. She couldn't leave Finn with a broken heart.
So Millie was going to do everything in her power to stop Sadie.
On the other hand. Sadie wasn't stopping Millie. She believed they could both have a decent chance. Sadie just doesn't want to listen to Millie.
Millie eyed Sadie as she walked up to Finns table with her tray consisting of an apple, some yogurt, some fries and a bottle of Dasani water.
Millie clenched her fist.
She didn't mind losing a friend to gain a soulmate.

Sadie did mind. Her mantra was fries before Guys.
But that didn't work.
Sadie sat next to Finn.
"Hey Finn! How are you?"
Millie could hear since mermaids have impeccable hearing.
"Good actually, you?"
Sadie opened her mouth to speak but suddenly the bottle of Dasani burst open and squirted on her.
Everyone laughed while Finn handed her some
napkins.
Little did Millie know, she was actually helping Sadie as Finn and Sadie walked out of the school together.
But Sadie was completely aware.
